We had a lovely stay. Very clean and comfy, quiet and has a great view, as well as a small patio, so a great place to relax. Close to the ring road and F35 which access the highlands. You can make small meals and coffee in the accommodation. Highly recommended.

The cottage lies in an amazing valley with very little light pollution (we could even see the aurora at night!), and the location is shared with other studios for guests and the owners with a very cute dog. The studio is small but essential and we particularly loved the atmosphere and the position of our stay, really far away from everything!

The owners have thought of everything for their guests comfort. The cottage looks deceptively small outside but is amazing inside. The panoramic windows in the living room have incredible views down the valley. Although it is in a fairly remote location(the nearest town is 20 minutes away), it is just off the main ring road around Iceland. Don’t be worried about road noise. The road is not that busy and you can’t hear a thing inside the house. The kitchen is fully equipped - there’s even a dishwasher. There are other accommodations on the property but nobody bothered us.

Overlooking Lake Svinavatn, this guest house offers basic rooms with hardwood floors. Iceland’s Ring Road 1 is a 9 km away.

Clean and neat, good accommodation with shared kitchen and dining area in very good condition. Quiet and out of main area. Margeta took very good care of things and was very helpful and warm persona. We cannot find anything wrong with this place at all.

Free parking and is in a very quiet area near the river and in the middle of the mountains. It’s very beautiful in the morning when the mist is covering parts of the mountains. It’s natural. The location is not very far from Blonduos which restaurants and other amenities are.

This property is 6 km from the Route 1 Ring Road. Free slippers, a bathrobe, and use of the summer outdoor swimming pool in Hótel Húni's rooms.

The pool and the hot tub are amazing. The staff is very friendly. And it’s great to sleep at a place which has a real history. The hotel was a school previously. We loved it and would definitely come back!

We stayed at the holiday home for one night as a family of 3. The home is spacious, the beds are food and the kitchen was well equipped. Indeed the hot water smells of sulfur and it must be connected to a hot spring. We did the rafting on the same day and they also had sulfur smelling water so it is normal there. No issues, just use the cold water to cook. Showering is no issue and my wife has commented on how the water in the north of Iceland is not drying her skin (like in Europe). We would easily stay here again
