We arrived very late and still we felt welcome and we were treated with pure hospitality by Gunius. Big room, view to the picruresque harbour. Cosy bedroom. Fairly priced at high season.

Wonderful little village to stay. The summer house we stayed in was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful. The restaurant in the hotel next door (same owner) serves very tasty food.

The hostel is very well equipped. The staff is very accommodating; we arrived after the check-in time had ended but because we called earlier the staff stayed behind to greet us and give us the key with instructions. The rooms are good and the beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are very clean.

The apartments were located close to Route One and enjoyed a magnificent view of the ocean. The apartments, against a backdrop of golden sun ray in the late afternoon, greeted us in a very pleasant way when we arrived. They were new and clean. The kitchens were well equipped. A special thanks went to the host who came to alert us of an approaching hurricane that basically closed most of the roads in northern and eastern Iceland for days. She managed to give us the heads up and advise us to closely monitor the weather forecast and road conditions before we checked out. Her advice was essential for keeping us safe as we then extended our stay at the next stop to take shelter from the strong wind and sleet.
