Contrary to previous comments, I found the approach road to be smooth, dispelling any concerns. My suite was wonderful, it was massive with a separate mirror sitting room (like sheesh mahal) and 2 balconies and a super large bathroom! The staff was exceptional and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The restaurant was amazing and a lot of the ingredients were grown locally at the property. The spa was also good and the kids have large gardens and a hoot pool to play in. Tortoise feeding was fun! We had 3 rooms all of which were great and unique. Good place to spend 2-3 nights with a bunch of temples and lakes to visit nearby.

Great room and bathroom. Very comfortable and clean. The hotel is beautiful, better than we expected. Great location - you can walk everywhere in the center of udaipur - and it has a rooftop with amazing view. We only ate breakfast in the hotel and it was ok. The staff is incredible, they made us feel at home and even let us rest in the lounge while we were waiting for our night train. Recommend!
