The property was beautiful and well maintained, and very close to the ghats. We loved how proactive the staff were. Richa helped us so much as we were stuck in traffic, to coordinate our stay and ensure it was comfortable. The food cooked at the property was absolutely delicious, and the best part is they can prepare breakfast for the group at any time. This was particularly helpful as we had to leave very early the next morning. We’d like to thank Richa, Praveen, Kuldeep, Uttam and Anil for the impeccable service. They went above and beyond to ensure our tired group was comfortable, and they did it with a smile on their faces! To top it off, they gave us ganga jal in beautiful containers to take home.

I was a female solo traveler and felt very secure. the rooms are very clean and the hotel is in the centre, close to the street and still quiet in the night. If I would stay again in Rishikesh, I would come back here!

I booked a stay for parent for my Mother's birthday. The staff took such great care of making their stay special. They decorated the room, made all the arrangements they needed. The staff (especially Vivek) was very prompt , courteous and extremely helpful! Apart from the the location is very convenient, the views are great! They would love to come back for a stay!

it was an absolutely incredible experience. The view from the rooms was breathtaking, offering stunning vistas of the surrounding mountains and the River. The service was impeccable; the staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The rooms were spotless, and the housekeeping was top-notch. Rishikesh is famous as spiritual destination… it serves the purpose to the extent but one of the major issue I would like to share is that walking trails specifically near Parmarth Ashram is full of chaos due to fast moving two wheeler in the narrow path and making horns. I think the issue can be resolved by making the path free of two wheelers which can ply on the back streets. In the good tourist spots of the world there is always free walking paths

Compared to Varanasi, the air quality in Rishikesh felt so...

Compared to Varanasi, the air quality in Rishikesh felt so much better, yet I could still experience the same beautiful cultural traditions, such as the daily Aarti. My favourites were walking across Ram Jhula, visiting the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ashram (Beatles Ashram), and watching the sunrise at Kunjapuri Temple with stunning Himalayan views. I mostly ate at my hotel, which is set a little away from the hustle and bustle, so you do need a cab to get around—but the peaceful setting made it worthwhile.

Beautiful place, Aarti at different Ghats are simply amazing and memorable experience. CHOOSE ANY HOTEL TO STAY EXCEPT ISHAN HOTEL, we had bad experience and other customer’s valuable items were stolen from their room. They filed a FIR against the Ishan hotel. STAY AWAY FROM ISHAN HOTEL.

The cleanliness of the river ghats was good; well maintained; Ganga Aarti @ Parmarth Niketan was well organized; good crowd control; On the flip side, lack of changing rooms at the ghats, after a holy dip.

I went to Rishikesh with an open mind to witness the might...

I went to Rishikesh with an open mind to witness the might of the Ganges River, see the temples and join my wife in the participation of the Aarti Ceremony. There are the local habits, roving animals and crazy traffic that may annoy a lot of visitors. But I chose to rise above those and focus on the rituals, temples, monuments, daily activities, Ashrams (retreats) and the view of the Rishikesh valley. The flow of the Ganges and the 3 cable bridges (Ram Jhulla, Lachman Julla, and Janki Jhulla), and the chanting with the ceremonies in the evenings were mesmerizing, humbling and a joy to the soul. I felt blessed to be there.

Had a wonderful experience at The Hosteller Upper Tapovan.

Had a wonderful experience at The Hosteller Upper Tapovan. The staff was incredibly polite and welcoming. The cafeteria was great, the food was delicious, and the views were absolutely stunning. Highly recommended!

The location was very remote and hard to find , we booked via booking.com but when we reached there the receptionist said that the hotel was full. Even though I said I called yesterday that we will be checking in by 4PM but he said that you would have called some other person and he is not here right now. He was making excuses like they have 4 hotels in Rishikesh and you could have booked somewhere else . Even though I had booking confirmation I didn’t get the room.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Shiv Palace in Tapovan, Rishikesh.The location is perfect surrounded by beautiful views that made my mornings so peaceful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. It was the ideal place to relax and enjoy my vacation. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rishikesh and would love to come back again.

The rooms comfortable and the toilets are well maintained ,clean and tidy. Breakfast was good and was served hot.lots of local shops around to try local food. Hotel on the main highway and it's like the first Hotel when you enter Rishikesh only 15 mins away from all the major attraction.
