A beautiful oasis away from the bustle of Varanasi but close enough to explore the city. It was great to have so much space and the staff took care of all our meals and transport needs. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and the house kept clean. Akash was a wonderful host who helped us with where to visit and welcomed us back when we had a mix up with our flight. We really loved the staff at Sugar Stars Inn, very friendly, accomodating and helpful. Also, the restaurant next door which is run by family or friends, was very enjoyable, great staff, delicious food and very good prices. Our room was spacious and very comfy. The location is quite central close to the railroad junction and tuk tuks are readily available. Still, the most interesting parts of varanasi are about 3 kms away and unless you don't mind walking along a very busy and loud street for that distance you depend on taking a tuk tuk. Overall, we enjoyed the Sugar Star Inn very much and can recommend it wholeheartedly.
