The rooms were kept neat and tidy and spacious good enough for 6 of us including a child bathrooms were hygienic and well maintained with 24 hours water availability. The home stay is spacious with three bed rooms a couple of them air conditioned and one of them not with A/C . Kitchen was well equipped but for a gas stove or electric stove and will be available soon as per the host . The home stay will be more efficient if equipped with an RO water purifier. The host and their family were very friendly and caring and were supportive .

Karun is a great host who goes above and beyond for his guests. He even kept me company as I was the only guest at the moment, so I would not feel alone! The location is nice, close to the train station, small grocery shops and a restaurant. The bed was very comfortable. While I only stayed one night, I would definitely come back.

Vijash and his family run this Fabulous homestay on Munroe island. We had a lovely big a/c room with private bathroom. There is a communal area where meals are served and/or just to chill with hammocks and comfy chairs. We went on the early evening sunset canoe trip - amazing just floating down the canals. Also got up at 5:00am for the sunrise canoe trip, spectacular. The food, wow... Absolutely delicious take on South Indian cuisine I can safely say that these was the best meals I've had in Kerala. Highly recommend this homestay.

Lovely family, very friendly, and made a special effort to celebrate Christmas Day with us. Also made a huge effort to get us fishing when their friends’ plan changed and he couldn’t take us - they went to many shops to buy hooks, and made rods out of wood - it was amazing fun and they really made us get the most out of Munroe island.

It's a beautiful little place surrounded by greenery just by the river. The host and his family are amazing and will do everything to make you feel comfortable. The room is very clean and spacious. The owner also let me use his bicycle and drove me around to show places. And food is delicious!
