Aptly known as temple town, the town has a multitude of Hindu temples dating back to more than 10 centuries. During our stay of 3 nights, was able to visit as many as 10 temples, each an architectural marvel. I’m going to come back very soon to try and visit the other temples.

A must visit place for all those temple lovers.

A must visit place for all those temple lovers. This city is rich in cultural heritage and has the maximum number of temples which you cannot see anywhere in Tamilnadu. Also close to city is Thirubuvanam which is famous for temples and pure silk. You get rich original pure silk mark pattu saree for a much lesser price as the sarees are being weaved here by weavers at home as their home business.

Worth visiting the temples, amazed with the beauty, the efforts craftsmanship of the artisan, their dedication. All the temples are within in walking distances. Since renovation was going on some parts were covered, awareness should be created to maintain the historic site which we should be proud of. Town is not clean, people are not caring to keep the place

Kumbakonam is an excellent place. Neat city with good roads.

Kumbakonam is an excellent place. Neat city with good roads. During our stay it rained heavily on one evening for about an hour. After the rain stopped in about half an hour's time entire water on the streets drained out. It is a good centre for textiles, Brassware, Hindu temples in and around the city etc

Cleanliness was excellent. Answer to your calls were swift. Our family enjoyed the ambience. Overall the stay was quite good and the services provided by the Hotel team was impressive. The facilities at hotel was quite adequate. WIFI was strong. The toilet and the bathroom was not accommodated in a single room. That gave the flexibility for our family to utilise those facilities individually giving us flexibility to gat ready faster as per our plan. Last but not the least, The hotel provided a comfortable stay and food to our driver too.

There was no water and the checkin was delayed by the hotel staff. We stayed in the reception for 1 hour to be checked in. The bedsheets and the towel was soiled and torn. Asked for replacement but even the replaced ones are not good. The toilet was filthy with damaged cistern. Would strongly recommend not to book this hotel / Lodge.

I did not take breakfast at the hotel as I feel the restaurant is to be upgraded to standard level. Coffee in the restaurant was superb. We really liked it. All the staff were courteous. I will definitely recommend to my folks and I myself would like to come and stay again.
