Upon arriving we were met with warm greetings from Hasim and the staff. While helping us plan our trip in Jaiselmer, we were provided complementary chai. Hasim organise, a camel trip for us. We were even allowed to pick which room we wanted to stay in, which had a beautiful view of the city and the fort. The hotel had all the ammenities required to make it a wonderful stay. The staff were very accomodating and the food we ate at there was nice and affordable. The arrangements made for the trips around the city highlighted the non touristy but definitely more worthwhile spots around the city. The guide who drove us to the sand dunes, who along with the cameleer Durga Singh, were excellent. We had a great experience sleeping under the stars, and had the most delicious food prepared on an open fire by the the pair, we cannot recommend them enough. Hasim was the most gracious and helpful host, and we only have great things to say about his boutique hotel. Would 100% recommend this place and the tourist activities they facilitate.

This is a nice and quiet hotel close to a sunset point where Sumer the manager goes out of his way to help his guests. He offered to pick me up and he runs desert trips also. The 5G wifi is great in the hotel too as well as the foods they serve are delicious and reasonably priced. Will come back.

It’s outside of the old center and fort so it’s quieter which is the main reason I chose to stay, but there’s so many more reasons. It’s a beautiful place built as a modern take on a traditional house. The rooms a spacious and had everything I needed, and the food was clean and after a few days there the stomach problems I’d picked up in Delhi where pretty much gone. Jitendra, the owner is great. Super friendly and he helped to arrange a brilliant bespoke Thar desert tour that I thought came in at a very reasonable price. I would 100% stay again if I found myself in Jaisalmer

Our stay at this hotel was amazing! If I visit Jaisalmer again, I will stay here again. The rooms are charming and furnished in an Indian oriental style, it was a dream. The view from the windows or from the roof terrace are very special highlights. In particular, it should be mentioned that the hotel has a wonderful and warm team. Deepu and Iran looked after us wonderfully! For example, we really liked the early contact via WhatsApp for arrangements and support. For example, a pick-up from the airport was organised in a very relaxed and uncomplicated way. But it wasn't just organised, we were advised on what was best for our needs. And this was the case throughout our stay, as the hotel was always available. The hotel's wonderful service also included a guided tour of the fort and the surrounding town. The hotel is highly recommended.

It's was awesome experience to stay in Hotel Desert. I never expected that kind of room I got only 800 rs. I would like to spical thanks for the hotel owner. he is so helpful and lovely person. I enjoyed his company and getting so many knowledge about fort. Resort food was so delicious 😋.
