This place is very good. it's just opposite to beach and near to the bus stand. Owner Yashwanth was very friendly and helpful. Just without even a second thought stay there. Their pizza was very tasteful. Food is good.

Everything! Wonderful relaxed energy amongst a beautiful garden. We stayed in the balcony room, which was a peaceful oasis and our room very comfortable with so much space. Ankit was a wonderful host, making sure we were very comfortable, restocking our room with water and soap and also offered to drop us to our night bus which was very helpful and kind. The property is a 2 minute walk from the beach, great location and in a quieter part of town, which is perfect if you like Shanti vibes ❤️ Great cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Thanks Ankit 🙏🏼 we hope to be back one day 😄

My stay at this hostel exceeded expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff welcomed me like I was part of a family. The vibe is a perfect blend of chill and social—mornings are peaceful, and evenings turn into fun communal hangs with music and games. Everything is thoughtfully designed: clean dorms, comfortable beds, lockers, and inviting common spaces. The location is ideal, close enough to everything but still calm when you need rest. Gokarna is a real surprise.

Gokarna is a real surprise. People are very friendly, the town is fascinating with all its temples, cows, dogs and pilgrims. I enjoyed it so much more than Hampi which I thought was crowded, dirty and full of hassle. Gokarna people are polite and welcoming. Apart from the town it has some nice beaches, even Main beach is good once you walk away from the town. We arrived at the weekend on the day before a very big ceremony. It was very busy, but such a spectacle, and wonderful to see. Genuine people and a very spiritual place.

We spent 2 nights in Gokarna, and it turned out to be the perfect mix of spirituality, scenic beauty, and beachside fun. On the first day, we visited the Mahabaleshwar Temple, a sacred and historic site. Just a tip—the queue can get quite long, so make sure to reach early in the morning for a smooth experience. In the evening, we made our way to Kudle Beach, which had a lively and chill vibe. The beach is lined with cafes, live music, and people soaking in the sunset—it’s an ideal spot to relax and feel the Gokarna vibe. One of the highlights of our trip was visiting the Uma Maheshwari Temple, which sits on a hilltop. From there, you get a stunning bird’s-eye view of Gokarna Beach and the surrounding area—totally worth the climb! The next day, we took a boating ride from Om Beach, which took us across the coastline, stopping near Half Moon Beach, Paradise Beach, and a few other secluded spots. The views were simply breathtaking and gave us a whole new appreciation for Gokarna’s natural charm. Gokarna truly offers something for everyone—from sacred temples to hidden beaches, and we loved every bit of it. Tip, you can visit mirjan fort, Honeymoon beach and Apsarakonda falls which are near by

Gokarna is an amazing place to visit.

Gokarna is an amazing place to visit. Beaches are comparable to blue water beaches of Sydney and other European Countries. Very neat and clean. Very less crowd. Gokarna is a hill station and also a beach town. Very religious place as well. Very famous Lord Shankar and Lord Ganesha Temples. Another very amazing nearby place (50 kms from Gokarna) called Yana Caves which are millions of years old. 4 Beaches - Kudle Beach to Om Beach to Half Moon Beach to Paradise Beach amazing trekking trail. Explore this route. One thing for sure that I will be visiting this place again.

The area we stayed in was nice away from the main town and...

The area we stayed in was nice away from the main town and the beach area here was clean and there were good restaurants near our home stay, the beach towards the main town was disgusting full of rubbish and very dirty whilst you would need transport to stay in this area I would recommend it over being nearer the main town. Gokarna. .

Perfect 2-day getaway with your family. One day can be spent visiting the historic temples. One day can be spent on beach hopping and if you’d like to extend then you can definitely trek to Vibhuti falls and Yana caves

Location is very convenient if you are travelling by train. It's quite a long way to the Gokarna main beach, Om beach etc. But the hosts helped me arrange a rickshaw so it was no problem. The hosts were so lovely and helpful, the breakfast I had was great. They always made sure I was okay and the room I had (first floor) was very clean, spacious and comfortable.

The approach road to the zostel gokarna was pretty bad and there are no sign boards and we lose the internet connection. It would be better if the roads are constructed and sign boards are put on the way. Aditya was an excellent communication manager keeping us engaged, superb energy and always up for any activities.

Nice outdoor area and nice to have the animals around. Manager Shon attempted to remove the cobwebs and make sure my bed was ok and helped with laundry - thank you! It was very much appreciated! Walking distance to Gokarna and temples but you will need a scooter/car to go to Om beach or pay for auto.
