Room was very clean and neat. AC was effective and facilities inside the room were of high quality. Breakfast was also of high standard south Indian quality and delicious. Instead of going down to Annapoorna restaurant for food, it is better to order room service if you want to avoid crowd. When my wife fell sick in the hotel room during the stay, the staff was extremely helpful in contacting the doctor in the nearby hospital who arranged for an ambulance immediately and a doctor came to the room and attended to my wife very quickly. Injections and medicines were also arranged promptly.

Alright, so I've been thinking about my trip to 🌴Coimbatore recently, and I just have to share my thoughts! First off, the weather was just perfect, not too hot, not too cold – just right for exploring the city. I spent a lot of time just wandering around and soaking in the local vibe; it was so relaxed. The food scene was incredible 😋, with delicious South Indian dishes everywhere I turned. I also made sure to visit some of the temples and historical sites; each one told a fascinating story. The people I met were super friendly and welcoming 🤗, always ready with a smile and helpful advice. Shopping at the local markets was a blast, picking up some unique souvenirs. Overall, Coimbatore is a fantastic place to visit, offering a great mix of culture, food, and relaxation! I can't wait to go back and explore even more of the area.

It is a typical Indian city with congested city centre.

It is a typical Indian city with congested city centre. The city is much cleaner than larger cities like Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, etc. The city is a manufacturing hub in south India for electrical appliances, motors, machine tools, automotive spares, and also consumer electronics. The city also boasts a university dedicated to agricultural sciences with a large campus, a botanical garden and Tamil Nadu's reputed engineering colleges like PSG and Avinashi colleges. The city is also linked to some nice tourist destinations and places of Hindu pilgrimage such as Maruthamalai, Vellaiyangiri, Isha Foundation and is in close proximity to popular desitinations like Mettupalayam, Ooty, Valparai, Coonoor and Pollachi. The weather is moderate most of the time. The city centre is congested but the ne Please note that the local autorickshaw drivers don't ply by meter and their rates are highly inflated. To go to the city's railway station from the city's central bus stand, which is just 2.4 km away, they demand any sum between Rs.150 to Rs. 200. Even if an autorickshaw is booked by an app, the driver would call and demand more than the sum that is shown on the app which he would have accepted before calling. For commutig within the city, I recommend using the services of Red Taxi, whose rates are reasonable and the drivers ply by the fare displayed on Red Taxi's app. There are many eateries in Coimbatore which are both renowned and good in quality. For South Indian breakfast, lunch and dinner, my recommendation is 'Annapurnas'. Lala's is equally good.

Coimbatore has lot of south indian restaurants with menu...

Coimbatore has lot of south indian restaurants with menu choice. But the sad part is no authentic north indian restaurant is visible in city centre area like Gandhipuram. Weather is very superb in Coimbatore without much humidity. Taxi aggregators like Red Taxi is the most reliable mode This was my first trip and we really enjoyed it.

Coimbatore is nice place.

Coimbatore is nice place. People are soft, friendly and respectable. Climate is mostly good Tasty Sirvani dam water. Within 3 hours drive you have lots of tourist places like Ooty, Masinagudi tiger reserve, Bandipur, Pollachi, Udumalpet ,Valparai, Erode. There are lots of temples Palani, Chennimalai, Bhavani Coimbatore is good place for shopping Textiles.

IT IS BUSINESS HUB AND INDIA'S MANCHESTER. GOOD TO SEE THAT IT HAS DEVELOPED IN TERMS OF INFRASTRUCTURE BUT VERY SAD THAT AIRPORT IS NOT GOOD. IT DOESNOT LIVE TO THE INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS. ALSO WEATHER IS PERFECT.
