Hello, Forte Kochi! Words can hardly express how wonderful my stay at your hotel was. The ambiance transported me to the charm and elegance of the early 20th century. What truly stood out was the deep connection with nature—whether it was the views of towering trees from the windows, the lush greenery woven into the interior decor, or the cheerful birdsong in the background. The unique tilework added a character all its own, giving the space a distinct and memorable atmosphere. Your staff was incredibly attentive, and I can’t forget to mention—the food was absolutely delicious!

Wonderful experience at Ginger House. It was our first day in Kerala and still it is one of the greatest place we have been. THe location is great, walking distance from major hot-spots. The building is incredible, a house that mixes ancient architecture and super warm ambience. We have been trying 2 different rooms (due to last-minute booking) and both they were amazing, especially the one with the balcony overviewing the river which is right in front of the Hotel. Rooms are big, spacious and comfortable, their architecture is amazing. There is a forniture-art museum inside, many artifacts are around the area, in the courtyard and garden which are both facing the river. THe service of George, the person who welcomed us was superlative, he has helped us in solving many issues with the car we were driving and has been always very present when we needed. Breakfast is really great as well, for the location (again in front of the river) and for the quality of the food. We really enjoyed very much the place and recommend it.

A hidden gem in a quiet road only a short stroll from the synagogue. It’s a clean and safe place with only 8 rooms and all the staff, especially Alain, went out of there way to make us happy and comfortable! Breakfast is huge and amazing and has always varieties.

The personnel of this place is out of this world, from the manager to the cleaning crew. Special mention for Sabrina (at front desk), Pious (night) and Anju (friendly waitress). An absolutely beautiful hotel, an Oasis. Beautiful, authentic rooms filled with charm and comfort. Breakfast is a choice from menu, rich and very tasty. The staff is extremely friendly and generous- we had a late night flight and they offered us a late checkout based on their possibility without us even asking and an option to open the spa for shower before we leave for the airport! Nothing much to explore.

Nothing much to explore. If you happen to be around then visit but I don't recommend visiting specifically for a city. Beaches are dirty and practically inaccessible. Major tourist attractions are average. Seafood is amazing but costly not on a budget friendly side.

You should visit Kochi in November as the festival at Trippunithura Temple- Poornathresia temple with 15 elephants decorated with drum beating which starts in the night till midnight. parallely there will be music evening with leading Musicians of south India. You can enjoy

My second visit, it was good to get some more culture and history in . The Folklore Museum was particularly interesting - an amazing selection of artefacts which thankfully are where they should be rather than having been looted by the Brits . Very friendly and normative staff. Go there.

Cochin being the land of kings, has many historical places...

Cochin being the land of kings, has many historical places of visit like the Dutch Palace, the Jewish Synagogue, the Hill Palace & not to miss shopping at the Jewish town street. The houseboat at alleppy was mesmerising with its picturesque landscape & yummy food served aboard. All in all a wonderful experience!!

Kerala is a very clean state. People are very polite here. We stayed in Fort Kochi for a day only and found the place to have a feel of a bygone colonial era. The buildings are well-preserved and very beautiful. But I found tourists making the place dirty specially near the seaside. Visitors should stay at least two days to explore the place properly.

A beautiful old city with the charm of the Portuguese, Dutch and Jew cultural influence. You can enjoy excellent cafes here serving some exotic dishes. A bit crowded but the waterways, beaches, ports and the fort make it a compelling visit. Enjoy introduction to Kathakali and Theeyam dance forms, and Kalaripayattu martial arts performances. Enjoy 'Sadya' a famed Kerala lunch known for its variety served on banana leaves.

this is by far the best accommodation in india we've ever experienced within a budget. outstanding in every detail and aspect: squicky cleanliness, friendly owner (ralph, nandi so much!), location (in a quite area of fort cochin, walking distance to santa cruz, st francis etc.), facilities. i would give 11 out of 10 if possible...

The Morning Breakfast Buffet was absolutely delightful. Bed were comfortable and the room has ample of space. Swimming pool was nice and clean. Staff were helpful. After experiencing 4 star Hotel in Dubai and 5 star Hotel in Kochi, I can surely say that the Dubai Hotel was way more premium with quality and experience.
