The host was super hospitable and friendly. From my arrival it felt as if I had a new friend. Also the food upstairs is amazing and really affordable and lastly the room was super clean and modern for Indian standards!

Great place to stay! Rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. Fast internet, hot water shower. The owner is super friendly and can arrange everything for you. There is a restaurant on the rooftop with the view to the palace and the food is very tasty.

Navreen and Jhankar were hospitable and kind and relaxing to be around. They took my wife to the temple for an evening event when I was unwell, and organised train tickets and transport with no charge. The room was beautiful and spacious and breakfast cooked fresh and to order. It was a warm family hotel in an amazing building with views directly to the City Palace above, and you can see monkeys and mongoose and millions of bats flying out of the ruins in the evening. An ideal location in the old quieter end of town right near the historic sights.

i liked nothing . a very boring property . with no activitites to do . i would rate 1 out 5 star . Pool area dirty . location of pool is very aukward . No sports nothing was their . even the TV was not working . for the price i paid which was very high just in the name of ananta brand . they are looting civilians . i would definitely recommend not to opt for the property

Bundi is less relentless than some other Indian cities, but...

Bundi is less relentless than some other Indian cities, but it still can have it's moments. There are sights worth visiting here, mostly more low key, but equally interesting. There could be better and more accurate signposting, Or indeed any at all! The stepwells in particular should be signposted and accurately marked in the tourist information, which they are not, and the locals seem equally unaware of them.

I first visited Bundi 25 years ago and it doesnt seem like much has changed. It still has an old world Rajasthani desert town feel to it. The crumbling Garh Palace and surrounds are worth the visit alone, and the town has a small shop feeling to with narrow alleys and temples and a bustling market. There weren't many tourists when i was there and that suited me fine. The famous step wells were unfortunatly mostly full of water which is good for the locals maybe but a bit disappointing for a visitor.

Bundi, is a small hilltop place, convenient stopover between Chittorgarh and Kota/Ranthambore. Has very few sights, Boondi Palace has nothing worth seeing. Chitrashala next to it, has exquisite Bundi style wall & ceiling paintings. Bundi ASI museum, next to Sukh Mahal, is one of the finest Museums we have seen in India, with beautiful sculptures, bundi style miniature paintings, weapons tracing history of warfare from bow & arrows to rifles, well maintained. However the best part is the superb view of lighted Bundi Palace, after 7 PM, from roof top resaurants of most hotels, Cenotaph of 84 pillars also worth visiting. two full days minimum requirred. Best visited in own transport

Bundi is a bit off the Golden Triangle tourist trail and we...

Bundi is a bit off the Golden Triangle tourist trail and we found the locals kind and welcoming. The bazaars were fantastic as we the marvellous step wells and the centotaph Kesar Bagh Bundi - amazing with a wonderful retainer. Multilingual Jay's Cafe near the Palace serves delicious pistachio lassis. The palace - although run down is an amazing construction and worth the walk up the hill. We only found out as we were leaving that Ramgarh Visdhari Tiger Reserve buffer zone near the Suk Mahal can be visited and there are tigers. Highly recommended

Bundi is a wonderful, very peaceful place!

Bundi is a wonderful, very peaceful place! Go there, then you can understand easily why the famous Rudyard Kipling was living there, where he writed the amazing.book "Kim". Bundi is absolutely amazing!

Great place for a off-the-beaten-track vacation.

Great place for a off-the-beaten-track vacation. Heritage sites. Small treks to the palace, fort & Mordi chhatri. You'll stumble on some (unknown) sites. But some of the tourist attractions are quite dirty.

Nanu and his family welcomed us and made us feel like home during our stay (1night). The homestay is full of little details that create a warm atmosphere. The mother is an excellent cook and prepared very good indian dishes adapted to our garlic alergies. Finally, the rooftop terrace has outstanding views of the Bundi Palace and Fort. A great place to spend a couple of days with outstanding views and very good conversarltions with Nanu that helped to understand better the indian culture. Highly recommended.

Loved my stay at Bundi House! After traveling through the busy city’s of Rajasthan it was really a place to calm down and relax. Shanu and his son are really sweet and helped a lot with informations about the small and cozy city. I just spend one whole day on the rooftop, relaxed, read my book and enjoyed the view. The place is a little bit off the main part of Bundi, what was no problem for me and made it extra chilled. Will definitely come back when I am in Bundi :)

This is a beautiful heritage hotel that was great value for money. The manager went out of his way to help us during our stay. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious, we ate there both nights of our stay. The only things that could be done to improve would be to offer a really good cup of real coffee and to have some hooks for towels and clothes in the bathroom!
