I truly loved the hospitality of this place. The hotel is practical, well-organized, and comfortable. The hot water works perfectly, the Wi-Fi is excellent, and the breakfast on the rooftop is a wonderful way to start the day. The location is ideal—just a short walk to Assi Ghat, where the morning and evening Aarti ceremonies take place. Sourav, the owner, is an exceptional guide who really opened up the essence of Varanasi for me. We began with a street-food walking tour as a group of four, visiting amazing spots and trying a wide variety of delicious and safe local foods. The next day, we explored hidden temples, which led us into the very heart of ancient Varanasi and its deeply mystical places. In summary, it was the warmth, hospitality, and shared knowledge that made my experience in Varanasi truly unforgettable. Most importantly, if you plan to take walking tours in Varanasi, choose Sourav—you will not regret it.

Subah-e-Banaras really lives up to its name — peaceful and full of positive energy. The rooms are modern yet warm, with beautiful interiors and thoughtful touches. The terrace was our favorite spot for evening tea and sunrise meditation. It’s in a calm VIP colony but still just a few minutes’ drive from the main temples. We felt completely safe and well taken care of by the caretaker. Perfect for those looking for comfort and calm in Varanasi.

As now in India, you would probably notice that it is Chaos and you have to go with the flow. In Varanasi immerse with the flow and enjoy it. Enjoy the food, the sweets, Enjoy talking to the locals, Enjoy the street vendors, Enjoy the ghats- walk as much as you can on ghats and the streets leading to ghats. And if you are tired there will be boats who will take you from here to there. Sharin boat is best, you just need to experience the boat alone only once and that too either Sunrise or Sunset. Observe just everything. Because Vanarasi is about the people and the river. If you are an international traveller like, Chai is a must anytime. Google map is your best friend in Vanarasi, use it properly to locate the places you wish to visit and most importantly the good restaurant present there, plus rickshaw/tricycle is always here to take you in and around. LET THE FLOW GUIDE YOU IN VANARASI.

Varanasi is a place for everyone, as a regular tourist there is so much of heritage, monuments and food that it will give a unique experience. There is no greater experience than varanasi when it comes to religious experience, from temples to ashrams to saints and Ganga Aarti and kashi vishwanath, there is no parallel experience anywhere in the world. And the third is spirituality, this is a place where you get to meet yourself, understand the true meaning of life, mortality and nashwar shareer, you can sit for hours on the ghats any time day and night alike. Allow yourself to soak in yourself, the chaos has a sense of calm, fire at manikarnika ghat gives you peace and you feel elevated to being a part of the supreme creator. Varanasi is a place that everyone in the world should atleast come once, I have lost count of how many times I have been to varanasi but each time, I feel more connected with myself. I don't know what you are searching in varanasi but I can assure you that you will find yourself. Mahadev tumhare galiyon mein Milna ho raha hai mujhse mera.

Varanasi is a very special city.

Varanasi is a very special city. You need to be prepared for bustle, crowds, constant noise, dirt and dust. This city is very different, unusual, with an ancient history. He just shocked me. But I think that not all tourists can be here.

Varanasi is a place with history, culture and with a spiritual vibe. But in my opinion the Ghats need to be cleaner as it is quite dirty at certain patches and also the in between Shivala to Assi Ghat a section was not lit up so it's difficult to walk in the dark. CLEANLINESS and TRAFFIC needs attention. Rest all good.

To me, Varanasi is not just a place, its an emotion.

To me, Varanasi is not just a place, its an emotion. Had a lovely time enjoying by the ghats. The ghat walk in the morning was amazing. Varanasi has such a vibe, it gives you the needed break, and the time to look into yourself. Plenty of local eateries, easy to access if you enjoy walking.

Bt not of guest house But for a senior citizen climbing 3 floors without lift is very difficult There was no arrangement for food they get it from market when ordered in time When I dark ie on turning off lights room is filled with cockroaches Combined washroom is very tight .even sink is so smsll

The property was ideally located at the Ghat of Assi , and from here everything is acceptable via foot or taxi. There are two parts to the hotel, and really what made it special were all the staff, who assisted and supported us during the stay, there is a little renovation , and winter months can be cold , but the amazing warm showers help… the rooms are just as the pictures show.. Thank you Hotel Varanasi Heritage , our family will definitely return

We had a great stay and the staff was always helpful with everything we needed. They helped us book for tours around the city and thanks to this we had an even better experience in Varanasi. The hotel has everything you need for a peaceful and silent night of sleep, something we were really missing after a long trip through India. If I come back, I would definitely choose Sugar Stars Inn.

Been many times to varanasi ,but this brand new hotel is really the best i have seen in Varanasi. The young owner is very good in clear communications and the father even drove me to a docter when i was ill. Really a friendly family business. With all facilities you need. Also close to the daily ceremonies at the ghats. Very good.
