Bekal is a beautiful place but the biggest task is to reach...
Bekal is a beautiful place but the biggest task is to reach there from bangalore....we traveled via madikeri it was very tiring journey due to ghats...but decent roads through deep forest is something good to remember of the travel...overall it's a place for relaxation without much hustle....if you are looking for activities & nightlife then it's not the place.

Bakal is just an awesome place to visit. this place has attractions for all age groups. mountains to Trek, back waters, the Fort, beach & so many temples to visit. Local transport is very comfortable. train connectivity from all the places. Local people are supportive.

Felt welcomed from the first minute, Firoz (owner) and the team couldn't do enough for us! Facilities were perfectly clean and to a very high standard. Firoz personally took us to the train station to ensure we got the correct tickets and on the train safely (so many bags). Highly recommended, as its 5 mins walk from Bekal Fort, also!

The location is great! Right next to Bekal Fort and walking distance to a beach. It was very peaceful.
Comfy bed and pillows.
Tea and coffee facilities in the room.
Friendly helpful staff.
Wild peacock and birds in the grounds.

Modern and clean rooms, with very comfortable beds, large space and character. Friendly helpful staff. Fabulous buffet dinner, and exceptional breakfast. Hotel is new so everything works as it should!
