Booking the Ameya Resort was one of the best decisions that we made during our trip to Kerala! This place is a paradise on earth. From the facilities to the staff - everything was pure perfection. **Advise to all of the travellers; if you want to have a boat trip on the black waters of Kerala, I would recommend to do it from this location instead of Alappuzha (Ameya resort can arrange that for you). We took boat trips in both locations, and it was much less crowded and the views were more spectacular from this side of the Vembanad lake.

Our stay at Venice Riverside was absolutely delightful! The property is beautifully located right on the serene backwaters of Alleppey, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere that’s hard to find elsewhere. The property is fairly new. The rooms were well designed and very modern. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was very nice. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and accommodating… especially the lovely woman at the front desk and the very helpful and attentive kitchen staff. Breakfast was superb, with many options. The dinner I had in the restaurant was also very delicious. I very much enjoyed my stay.

This is truly a unique place to stay, which met our expectations. Vijo, Sam and Tom made it a memorable stay. Extremely welcoming and super friendly, we were made to feel at home. The food is excellent and dining is a communal affair with other guests, which is great as you can share tips on your trip. The gardens are lovely, the location a little out of the way but that is why we chose this homestay. Vijo has a selection of activities you can partake in. We did a few and loved the massage and cooking lesson. If you want a truly memorable experience which is chilled with good food, choose here!
