Ein Bokek is easy accessible by public transportation.
Ein Bokek is easy accessible by public transportation. It is located along the cost of Dead Sea,has many comfortable hotels to stay.

Very quiet and relaxed place.
Very quiet and relaxed place. Close to visit other areas such as Masada national park or Ein Gedi by car, taxi or bus.
Not many options of places to eat outside of hotel and it is a place literally to relax so do not expect a nightlife as not what the area is about.

This is the Dead Sea, hot sea water, coarse salt sea floor and HOT. A cool day is 35 C, so you need a hat, water, sunscreen/sun block and foot protection if your feet are sensitive.
Get a half meal plan, you can easily get by with lunch and dinner.
Mix sea fun with pool time.

It's an incredibly beautiful place, the views are magnificent. It's almost a spiritual experience.
It's very hot so you need to have water with you at all times and always cover your head. The heat is coming from everywhere so it's easy to get a heat stroke.
If you want to go hiking, always look for hike trails and don't go into the desert if you don't know what you're doing - you can get lost and there are wild animals (like ibexes and leopards).
If you go into the Dead Sea, always listen to the instructions - float on your back only and don't put your head under water.
There are direct busses to Ein Gedi and Masada - both worth visiting.
Buying bus tickets can be confusing as you can't pay cash - you need a Rav-Kav card which you can charge with your credit card in many ATMs, the card itself costs ₪5 (I think it can only be bought in their offices, we bought it at the bus station in Arad). I believe there's also an option to buy tickets through Moovit app (I haven't tried it myself, I've only used it for checking the routes and bus numbers).

At the hotel, the breakfast was very good.
At the hotel, the breakfast was very good. Lots and lots of food and a great variety. I loved the cheese cake!
For lunch or supper I would go to the Aroma in the small mall opposite the hotel. They have excellent service, a variety of salads and sandwiches to sit down or take away and great coffee. There is also the big new mall nearby and a variety of shops, kiosks and stalls next to it with minimarkets, fast food and sit down places to eat, fashion shops, shoe shops, cosmetic products of the Dead sea and more.
It is easy to get around Ein Bokek. Most things are nearby. You don't have to walk far to get from one place to another. But a car would be handy if you would want to get from the North end to the South! e.g. if you stay in a North hotel and want to get to the South end where there are separate bathing facilities for the religious at Hamei Zohar near the Leonardo club hotel. I think there is a bus service, but I don't know the frequency of it. In addition, the hotels can call a taxi or shuttle service for you.

In addition to the dead sea this is close to some beautiful nature hikes with waterfalls- nachal david, nachal arugot. There are also jeep rides nearby and this hotel gave us a voucher to use the spa facilities at another hotel. This hotel had a pool and massage parlor on site.
The breakfast was very good. I also enjoyed the location. We came down for the Dead Sea Marathon and despite the hotel being the furthest from the start, it was a short walk and convenient to the Dead Sea Mall and the Dead Sea Beaches.
The outdoor pool was closed (and we knew that going into the reservation) and would probably be very beautiful in the summer or during pool season. It had also had a slide for kids. So during season, I would probably give the pool a good review as well.
The hotel was a decent option for a visit to the Ein Bokek Dead Sea resort area. Breakfast and dinner were included in the booking and both meals offered a rich variety of options. The rooms had a small balcony with a bit of a view toward the Dead Sea. The public beach is within walking distance from the hotel (about 5 to 10 minutes on foot). Overall, management and staff made a meaningful effort to provide guests with a pleasant stay.
The hotel is not too big and located close to a public beach at the Dead Sea (no dedicated seats are provided, but there are big areas of shade and public showers with sweet water). Both the breakfast and dinner buffet were well organized and with a variety of food choices (meat and vegetarian alike) and good value for the price. The hotel is also well located (15 minute drive) for a hike to Masada.
We must keep an open mind and I can say that this was my second visit to Vert dead sea hotel, and this was unforgettable. We were overindulgent from hotel staff. our reservation did not include the dinner and they gave us free vouchers for dinner. when we came to hotel and finished check inn, we got cold and hot drinks vouchers also...
The hotel made the best impression.
Large spacious room, very clean, good room service.
Lovely delicious breakfast with a wide selection of food.
I would like to say especially good words about the spa. We loved the amazing massages done by Aviram.
In general, we give the highest rating to the rest at the Royal Dead Sea Hotel.
The Service at the reception was very polite and helpful.
Shlomit was very wonderful to us and gave us an amazing and caring service!
The room was amazingly clean and we had a very nice view to the dead sea.
The hotel itself is huge and has alot of attractions!
The entertainment team was funny and energetic!
Great swimming pool and outdoor eating. Beautiful views of the dead Sea. We love the indoor salt pool. The room is very comfortable and the rooms are well maintained and very clean. Breakfast is also fantastic with lots of options. We stay regularly at this hotel when we visit the dead Sea.
The usual GREAT Israeli breakfast, filled with variety, quality and quantity. I commend and mention Hassan, who every morning we were there, cooked excellent omelets and a variety of eggs. The cafe aruch coffee was excellent, and great salads.
Lovely hotel, beach 30 seconds from hotel lobby, nice pool, great bar area you can drink on the terrace overlooking the pool, breakfast and dinner buffet both good, has a spa, and Sulphur and Dead Sea pools next to the swimming pool.
Best hotel in the Israel side of the Dead Sea, definitely
It's not cheap, but worth it
Amazing location, the best beach, not crowded.
The amount of salt in water close to the hotel is higher than in other areas.
Enjoy
The location was good, easy to park right outside the hotel. Staff were hard-working, friendly, and helpful. Great views across the Dead Sea. Rooms were a good size and complimentary drinks and snacks were a nice touch.
I reserved this stay for my friend from Belarus, she is not Israeli citizen. I mentioned her name on the Booking reservation.
But the hotel charged her for our local tax Ma'am. Please refund me or her the 200 shekels
Loved everything about this hotel - the room was very clean and well appointed, super comfy beds, amazing view of the Dead Sea and the dessert behind the hotel. The breakfast was amazing!
5 minutes walk to the public beach, mall and a square that has a piano to play (like in many other places in Israel).
Mattress was comfortable, rather firm. Everything is clean
The best in this hotel was a breakfast! Great choice of fresh vegetables and fruits, israeli treats, nuts, dates etc. Great quality meats! All food was great this time!
