Our stay at Zehava’s Zimmer in Ein Gedi was truly special. The location is peaceful and breathtaking—surrounded by desert cliffs, close to the nature reserve and with views of the Dead Sea. What really stood out to us was the creativity and charm of the space. The room is thoughtfully decorated with beautiful antique pieces and artistic touches that give it a warm, unique character. You can really feel the care and personal touch that went into creating this space—it’s not just accommodation, it’s an experience. Zehava and her history herself were incredibly welcoming and kind, and made sure we had everything we needed. The kitchenette was well equipped, and the outdoor area was perfect for relaxing in the quiet desert air. Bedouin-style encampment village surrounded by palm trees, a real desert oasis. Unfortunately, we were there when the war broke out in Israel but they offered us to stay as long as we needed with no extra cost so we could keep safe. They invited us for a bonfire, to walk around, and to drink some beers so we felt relaxed and at home. We can't thank Kfar Hanokdim enough for everything they did for us. We made really good friends and I hope to be back soon. תודה רבה.

It was a beautiful campsite with amazing views of the Dead Sea and the stars shone brightly in the night. Lots of hammocks and cozy places to sit and view the stars at night. Highly recommend for a nice getaway and time out on nature without feeling like you’re “roughing it”’

A peaceful spacious light flat with a fabulous balcony with great views towards the Dead Sea and Jordan. Very clean and convenient, with good quality bedlinen. Rivka kindly met me with her kibbutz vehicle to help me with my luggage, and checked in regularly to see if everything was OK, and with crucial advice including for booking my bus to Eilat! It is a beautiful kibbutz!
