It has a fantastic shopping centre with various food venues but are only a very small number of it closes at 9pm. In the area but here are only a very small number of eating places open in the evening. We were there for a business matter, I don't think it's particularly good for leisure in the evenings,

Beautiful hotel, modern, clean and tidy! Perfect room facilities, hotel bar and restaurant was lovely very friendly and helpful staff! The breakfast on the morning was worth every penny and more, the selection of warm and cold food and drinks was perfect, filling and tastes so good! There isn’t much around the hotel in regard to pubs however taxis/ubers easy accessible, 15/20 drive to the city. Short travel from and to the airport. There is a McDonald’s behind the hotel, however opted for proper cooked food within the hotel which again perfect! There is a shopping centre not far from the hotel. With a small shop behind also. I would happily use this hotel again when visiting Dublin

As our trip was for a Funeral nearby, we didn't really take a lot if notice, however was v built up & sirens on Sunday night were quite plentiful., but we live in the country so??Overall we found Tallaght OK.

Fantastic view of Dublin mountains from room windows.

Fantastic view of Dublin mountains from room windows. Great shopping in and around the Square. Very good choice of eating/drinking establishments, except of course if you have allergens such as gluten intoleration or other allergies in which case you might have to go walkabout. Easy access to public transport to just about anywhere in Dublin.

It was the perfect location.

It was the perfect location. We had so many restaurants, cafes, shops right within 5 minutes walking distance. We had the cinema, the Square and the red line luas within view of the hotel so location was perfect for us.

Every thing in the room was nonfunctional, water hearing...

Every thing in the room was nonfunctional, water hearing kettle leaked and water was all over the place on carpet. There was no toiletries in the bathroom. Staff was nice. They could not accommodate us earlier than the check in time. After a long flight, we had to waste our whole day

The staff was very helpful and pleasant. We had a problem with the hot water (the shower was much too hot and we couldn't get the temperature down) and they exchanged the faucet of the bathtub the next day while we were out. The bed was very comfortable and there was no street noise (make sure you ask for a quiet room). We liked the location of the hotel with the LUAS terminal and the SQUARE shopping center right next to it.

Noreen is a lovely host, we were chatting away for ages when I arrived, could have talked for hours. Unlike the 'big' hotels I've been in on other nights, the TV is great (all the Freesat channels) and the wifi works perfectly. A short walk from The Square in Tallaght, which was good for me, travelling by public transport.

Great location, location was perfect for attending a match at Tallaght Stadium. We met very friendly reception staff at check in and check out. The hotel felt clean. Complementary parking is great - just make sure you use google maps to check out how to access the car park - it’s not well sign posted

There was everything to like about the Plaza hotel in Tallaght. It was a huge improvement on the last time I stayed there. The staff, food, drink, room, parking, etc. were all top class, and I would have no hesitation in returning for a further stay.

We stayed in spacious family room, nice bathroom. Had a quick drink in the bar area (didn’t try the food). Hotel is great location for the Lucas tram in to Dublin centre which takes about 40 minutes. Free parking.
