Castle Grove Country House is a beautiful historic estate, but what makes it really unique are the most friendly staff there, always attentive even to the smallest of your needs. My son fell in love with one of the cats of the estate and one of the staff members made sure the cat was there the day of our departure, so my son could say goodbye to her. That was such a sweet gesture and we will never forget. Thank you to all the staff at Castle Grove Country House for making our stay unforgettable with their kindness ❤️

We came to the hotel as a christmas treat for our son the hotel was lovely, beautifully decorated for Christmas, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and clean. We ate in the bar and the food was lovely. Breakfast was great too can recommend to others.

Such a beautiful house out in the country. I stayed in room 4 which is on the top floor. It was comfortable and very quiet which was lovely. The hosts allowed me to use their kitchen to prepare dinner before settling down for the evening, which was very much appreciated. It was in a location suited to my needs for exploring the area for the weekend, at a very reasonable price for a clean and comfortable stay. I will definitely return if I’m in the area again.

Charming, stylish, and private apartment, perfect for couples or solo-traveles. Everything about the place is meticulously designed down to the smallest detail. An eclectic mix of vintage, modern elements and bold interior design. My partner and I stayed here for the weekend. As soon as we stepped inside we felt like we were in a cozy, tidy and comfortable home. And all of this spotlessly clean. The temperature is electronically controlled and you can set your preferred temperature. The internet is good and there is a comfortable place to work if you need to. Fresh flowers on the kitchen table... I cannot express my complete admiration for the place and the hospitality of the tactful and discreet hosts.

Great welcome pack from the owners Deli, downstairs. Enough cheese and wine to provide 3 picnics! Owner was always on hand to provide information and service. Local (famous) chip van was brilliant!

Ramelton has a few but rich in quality amenities and outlets...

Ramelton has a few but rich in quality amenities and outlets. The Bridge Bar Restaurant is exsquisit!! Fine dining above an endearing pub. The Blue Goat delicatessen is utterly astounding in quality produce… A truly dangerous place to visit!! We never leave empty handed!! Lennon side Butcher is first class and great value and Conway’s Thatched Pub shouldn’t be missed!!

Cottages were high spec and facilities top class

Cottages were high spec and facilities top class Location amazing , walk to the beach or jump in a hot tub or the sauna Storms didn’t ruin our stay, as Harry (owner) said.. you don’t notice the rain in the jacuzzis ! Ramelton is ten mins drive away if you need shops chemists a pub or a take out! Thanks, we will return !

The view from the house was great and it was so peaceful and quiet. Just what we were looking for coming from a busy urban life. We loved the interior and the rooms, which were spacious. Elizabeth has kept the house spotlessly clean and provided all the amenities as advertised. Ramelton was only a short drive from the house, so it was convenient to get supplies/food or go for a pint. It also helps that Elizabeth lives close by in case you need any help.

Lovely scenic location within short drive to nearby town of Ramelton (circa 7/10mins away). Clean and modern facilities. Ideal for families with playground and soccer pitch. The Owner Harry was on hand to answer any queries and replied promptly. Communal hot tub and sauna was great. Highly recommend. Many thanks Harry and team.

Great location in the center of Ramelton village Lovely cozy feel to the place. Had all the amenities we needed. Next to the country market which was great to try locally made products. We also got a discount at the Narrow Quarter restaurant - breakfast was delicious.
