Margaret was very welcoming and friendly. She shared her knowledge of the area which was helpful in trying to find our ancestors. The house was spic and span, our beds were comfortable and the showers had plenty of hot water! We had a quick breakfast of breads, toast, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, tea and coffee. Hillgrove House met our expectations and we would certainly return.

Our stay at the house was absolutely delightful. The cleanliness, comfort, and coziness exceeded our expectations. The host was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. We especially enjoyed the jacuzzi, which added an extra touch of luxury to our experience. This is by far the best place we have stayed in Ireland.

House was very comfortable. Everything was supplied. Large private parking area. Location is idyllic and close to local towns. Lovely area for walking. Lots of places to visit. Host very hospitable. Very welcome hamper supplied on arrival.

Nice place. This is a private house located in driving distance from the nearest town. Hosts are very welcoming. We arrived at night and were granted a wide room with bathroom access. Breakfast was offered in the morning as well as beverages upon arrival. Parking slot is available for free. Good choice to stay here.

It’s so peaceful and calming, right on the lake. Micheal the owner checked on us now and then as we were 5 females aged 16-65 on our own we really appreciated that !Lovely kind man! It was large, clean and really well equiped. We were met by Hazel , she was so sweet and had the cottage heated and welcoming, even a nice welcome cake.

Location i regurally in that town first time stayed there just a pitty weekends so expensive the sat night
