The accommodation was modern, spotlessly clean and quiet. We ate food in the bar which was delicious freshly cooked and piping hot. The staff were helpful and approachable. The location is very central, within walking distance to the bus/train station. There is a public car parking facility at the rear of the accommodation which costs €2.00 a day. Make sure to have coins as the machine does not take cards.

A true homestay for those who wish to experience the famous irish hospitality! The hosts are so friendly and welcoming, we really enjoyed chatting with them and getting to know more about life in Ireland. Our room was spacious, cozy and clean; the house is located in a quiet area so we had a good night sleep. Delicious continental breakfast (with the best americano coffee of our entire trip!). Bonus point for the two adorable, peaceful cats!

Rod, the manager waited for us on arrival. Aparment is very large, on 1st floor, parking is right downstairs and secured, with gated entrance. Walking distance to the center where you can eat out or go shopping.

Location was fabulous, rural setting very close to main road. The hut itself was perfect, cosy feel but spacious inside and also well kitted out. I also arrived quite late and Craig was very accomodating. I'll certainly be back for my next visit to Longford!

It is so comfortable and the staff is very friendly. We loved the views and especially also that we could bring the dogs with. The room had different levels of lighting and you could even connect to the speakers inside the room via Bluetooth

what a lovely spacious town full of all kinds of shops and businesses. lovely friendly people too. various streets to wander through and a magnificent Cathedral to visit. It had burned down some years ago and was totally rebuilt. Definitely worth a visit 77

We were there to meet up with family so we didn't use many...

We were there to meet up with family so we didn't use many of the facilities that Longford has to offer. Limited range of good restaurants but lots of fast food places. Good central base to explore lots of Ireland.

This is a part of the country which I wouldn’t think of...

This is a part of the country which I wouldn’t think of exploring but I’m so glad I did. I was on my way to a wedding in Roscommon and we stayed in Longford which was within a half hour drive. It was lovely to be by the banks of the Shannon and I will certainly visit again. We ate in “The Purple Onion” and as we waited for our taxi to collect us the proprietor treated us to a nightcap on the house.

This is a gem in Longford.The price was great. The place was spotless with new bathroom facilites. Declan was so welcoming and really helpful with getting youtube for my daughter. He also got honey for breakfast. This added to the light hearted relaxing atmodphere. Thank you. The chocs were a nice touch.

Another great stay with excellent host Matt. Today , due to the storm and fallen tree , he helped me leave safely. The accommodation is so comfortable and clean. Everything is perfect - so always top of my list for a stay in Longford! Breakfast is excellent - lots of choice .

Very well equipped, clean and modern apartment set in a set of restored buildings in a gated complex. Very helpful host. Very good location beside St Mel's Cathedral and very convenient to the main shopping area of Longford. A great base for exploring the wider area.

Our first time staying in Longford and this apartment didn't disappoint. Spotlessly clean and had everything we needed and more. Perfect location in the town within walking distance to everything. Car park right beside it, too, for only €2 a day. Highly recommend 👌
