I honestly can't recommend this lovely accommodation enough! I booked this B&B for my parents first night of their 30 year wedding anniversary roadtrip through Ireland and the owner went out of their way to make it so special for them. Not only did she give them a room with an amazing view but she also decorated the room, gifted them snacks and drinks and wrote them a handwriting card. My parents were over the moon and said that the next time they come to Ireland they want to stay at this B&B for a longer time than just one night. They said the room was very lovely and clean and the breakfast was amazing. Thank you Mary for making this happen and thanks to your daughter as well who I heard helped with the lovely surprise for my parents.

What did I like ~ Margaret, who runs the B&B, was off the scale amazing. Very welcoming with a warm smile and Irish charm Great location for the beach, a five minute walk. Breakfast was wonderful.

Clear instructions were emailed to use for access. The house and the setting are breathtaking. Aidan has used really great quality fixtures and fittings. There were great touches like some milk and butter in the fridge and some snacks. Lots of recommendations listed out. We couldn’t fault anything. Everything worked and the house was spotless. Great to see house martins nesting. I also saw a beautiful hare. Perfect!

Beautiful and well kept estate in a natural and rugged setting. The front of house staff (Maura, Mary & Geraldine) were exceptional, making you feel completely at home yet spoiled red rotten. Bed was comfortable and room was spotless and spacious with old manor luxury. Food was phenomenal, the chefs created delicious, high quality, beautifully presented food for the set menu each evening and the breakfast was 5 star too. The drawing room allowed a quiet place to relax and read during the day and the beginning of social fun with all other guests in the evening. The communal table for dining made for entertainment, everyone chatting and sharing stories, loved it. We were there for my husband’s 40th birthday and staff frequently went above and beyond over the weekend to mark it in fun and thoughtful ways. Thanks for having us and providing a Céad Míle Fáilte!
