Denis was such a nice host, we had lovely chats and he had great recommendations. The place is a hidden paradise full of friendly beings and good mood! The breakfast was excellent, Denis offers everything that you could wish, everything is fresh and tasty.

We absolutely loved this place! So much feeling put into everything, and the people that own the place really are so lovely! Love the hot tub! Thank you to the owners for pre-lighting it so that it was perfect by the time we arrived! The animals are very well taken care of, as is everything on the property, and it's so much fun taking a walk and having a chat with them! There are lovely detailed, easy to read information boards about the animals, I was surprisingly very well educated on Pigs just from reading the information they've posted up, thank you! We ended our stay off at the market that started at 10 am. Coffee, treats, clothes, jewellery, arts & crafts and more. Great spot, good support of the community and sustainability, we need more of this! Oh yes, and the bus! It's so cosy and comfortable, everything you need! The showers are right next to the bus with beautiful water temperature! Honestly, you're taken care of with everything you need for a good stay. Beds are very comfortable. The closest ATM is about 9mins away in Ballinspittle. Also, great for kids, there's a play area indoor and outdoor, then the animals are a great attraction for little ones, we had our almost 5yo son with us and he enjoyed them so much! So happy we stayed here, thank you.

What we saw of the countryside as we drove through was...

What we saw of the countryside as we drove through was beautiful. Unfortunately we didn't have lots of time to see that much. We ate breakfast at Grey Gables (our accommodation) and then headed out for the day.

Riverbank House is absolutely stunning.

Riverbank House is absolutely stunning. It was 5 star service from Heather and Adam. We brought a take away and they provided us with the cutest picnic basket of plates and cutlery to have our meal in the garden. The room was so comfortable and homely. The common areas were welcoming, beautiful and interesting. The gardens are just stunning to look at and the breakfast was hearty and delicious. Not a single flaw or complaint and I would highly recommend it.
