The location is fantastic, right by the sea with easy access to Howth’s scenic cliff hiking route and likely other trails as well. It’s not far from Howth’s DART station (about 8-10mins walk). King Sitric restaurant is a standout, offering fresh and delicious seafood, so you don’t need to venture far for a great meal. (Love their breakfast too!) There are also other dining options nearby, adding to the convenience. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, which truly enhances the overall experience.

Howth was a find for us.

Howth was a find for us. We go to Ireland a lot and usually stay a night or two in Malahide near the airport. This year we decided to try somewhere new and arrived at Howth. This is a destination all by itself. A bustling sea port and the gateway to Ireland's Eye and the coast. The town itself is busy and filled with art and other interesting locations. Howth is famous for its smoked salmon and is filled with interesting restaurants. It is also only a forty minute DART ride into Dublin and twenty minutes to the airport.

We come from Minnesota, USA to Howth almost yearly to attend a Phil Lynott Birthday celebration at the Bloody Stream. This small town feels like home to me. The people, market and food make Howth a place to put on your bucket list.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is great.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is great. Everything within 10 mins walk and the bus stop right out the front, that takes you into Dublin cbd. The apartment was fully equipped with quality fittings, equipment, bedding and bath towels. It was roomy, warm and comfortable. The apartment was over a cafe restaurant that served delicious breakfast, brunch, lunch & dinner, not to mention excellent coffee. The host was very friendly and helpful, but so was every single cafe staff member. Carl had a lovely helpful team downstairs.

I loved this little coastal town!

I loved this little coastal town! Walk out to the lighthouse and walk the cliff walk. Have tea at the Dog House! Check out Abby Tavern...I ate there twice and stayed late for the local Irish music. It's a walkable town with shops and restaurants. But also nice to just sit and take it all in!

Howth is the place to stay when visiting Dublin.

Howth is the place to stay when visiting Dublin. Just 30 minutes by train away from he city centre, it is a small but beautiful town on a penninsula surrounded with cliffs and seagull collonies. Many great pubs and restuarants, fantastic views and, contrary to Dublin - the calm and peaceful atmosphere where you can really relax.

I did not know what to expect as we booked last minute to go to a concert in Malahide. Howth is a beautiful seaside town with lots on offer (restaurants, bars, cafes etc...) We hope to return in the near future to spend more time there. Great for couples & families. A bit hilly in places so you need to have good mobility if you want to explore or stay slightly out of town. I visited a beautiful cove in the morning time where there were lots of swimmers in the sea & it was so peaceful...great way to start the day.

The location in Howth was very good and it was an easy walk to get to the seafront and harbour. Price was good when compared with other properties in Howth. Great to have two bathrooms! Breakfast/brunch in the downstairs restaurant was excellent and definitely to be recommended! The host Karl always got back to us when asked any questions

Lovely staff and very pleasant, clean room with large comfy bed. The location is brilliant with a 10minute walk to the railway station. A return trip into Dublin only costs about 5 euros and the trains are every half hour. The area is beautiful with a lovely marina surrounded by lots of bars and restaurants. Well worth a visit.
