Beautiful house in a beautiful location. It was very clean and comfortable with all services/facilities, and all you would possibly need in the fully functioning kitchen. Great showers and comfortable beds ... perfect location for the wedding we were attending in Mohill and Lough Rynn Castle. Just a few mins walk to the castle and a short drive to Mohill. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this location.

A very pretty village on the Shannon.

A very pretty village on the Shannon. There are 3 bars each with restaurants & a cafe in the village. There is a buzz in all of the bars. People are very friendly. You can get a train from Dublin to the village of Dromod for a day trip (met someone who was doing that) or a weekend. One Bar/Restaurant in about 2 mins walk from the train. The Village is about 6-7 mins walk. You can hop on the train (get a return) which will bring you to Carrick on Shannon & return within a few hours so you dont need a car.

lovely location - quiet and peaceful.

lovely location - quiet and peaceful. beautiful Marina with nature walks. 3 local pubs however lack of vegan / vegetarian options on all menus however we were catered for in our B & B/pub short drive to Carrick on Shannon for shopping
