Food was amazing (bar, restaurant and breakfast). A good variety at breakfast buffet and a chef to make extra stuff request. Dinner at the restaurant was also very good. Food tasted brilliant and great service. Place had a reasobably large grounds to explore. Car is better to explore nearby areas. The lough nearby was good (saw some people kayaking there) but not sure if we could have taken a boat there.

A friend, her daughter and I stayed for the night. It was absolutely wonderful. Whatever you need, is already there. Tee, cereals, Milk, scones.. Airfryer.. Donegal was the least favorite part of our two week trip to...

Donegal was the least favorite part of our two week trip to Ireland. We were bored. It was a sleepy small town and the food choices were limited. We didn't find people to be friendly or welcoming and in fact I was looking at souvenirs and decided to not buy anything, because I couldn't find what I wanted and the owner of the store called me a name. My hubby and I didn't get a welcoming vibe anywhere in Donegal.

I loved going into these stores: Forget Me Not and Distinctly Donegal. I enjoyed my conversation with the owner/creator of the beautiful silver jewelry at Distinctly Donegal. I will check out her website! I loved going to Slieve League and would’ve liked to spend more time hiking there.

Donegal is a beautiful county and the people go to great...

Donegal is a beautiful county and the people go to great effort to ensure that visitors have a good experience. Unfortunately the inclement weather and constant mist cannot be controlled. This of course might be the attraction for some visitors. Good food available in bars throughout the county.

Unfortunately our time in Donegal was tainted because we...

Unfortunately our time in Donegal was tainted because we could never reach the Bridges Bed and Breakfast staff to check in. We waited two hours in the car calling, knocking on door, texting etc We ended up having to book another room elsewhere only to learn that the host is known for not showing up. To make matters worse, Booking.com would not refund our payment. Terrible experience and very disappointed.

Stayed here with a group recently. Can't speak highly enough of the staff who went above and beyond to make our stay a welcome and comfortable one. My room was spacious with an extremely comfortable bed I instantly fell asleep on! After a night out in Donegal Town some of us struggled to get a taxi but found it easy enough to walk back to the hotel which is closer to the town and than you would think when staying there.

Harvey's Point is situated on the coast of the beautiful Lough Eske near Donegal. The view from our hotel room window was amazing. We only stayed there for one night but we had a great experience for the short time we've been there. We had dinner at the Bar & Terrace restaurant, the food was really good. After dinner, we sat at the bar for a couple of drinks.

We booked to stsy here for the night after the 2025 All Ireland to welcome th Donegal Team home. Would highly recommend it for a night away in Dongal town absolutely fabulous location so clean and walking distance to everything. We will definitely try to book it again.
