I absolutely loved my stay in this hotel, and I am SO glad I chose to stay in Cobh over Cork. This hotel was beautiful and historic, and my room was super spacious and so comfortable. The staff were lovely, especially the receptionist on duty when I checked in and out (2:30pm Wednesday and 11:30am Friday - thank you!). They even provide crackers, fruit, muffins, and coffee facilities in the room. It's the little things! The location was great, close to the rail station and overlooking a beautiful little park and the cruise ships. I'll definitely come back to the Commodore if/when I return to Cobh.

The view from our room was stunning and the staff and service were exceptional. We arrived late in the evening and the woman at the front desk exceeded our expectations as she saw we had heavy bags and no elevator on the premises and gave us a room on the main floor. She also made reservations for us in the restaurant so we could have a bite before the restaurant closed. After a long day of travelling we were grateful for all of these gestures. The location was great, on the water, great views and very walkable to all the sights and shopping.

The breakfast was excellent. The location was close to the city centre. Staff were very friendly. They helped out with our bags as we were staying on an upper level. Gave great advice for dinner options and routes to our next destination.

Beautiful place, hotel-castle (more 700 year Ballet castle), hotel part is absolutely new, big size room, kitchen, fridge, toaster and rest essential facilities were included. The house is a Victorian beauty with lovely rooms and a great view. Not far from the city centre (ca. 15-minute-walk) and also perfectly located to explore the area around Cobh. Ronnie is a wonderful host who made us feel welcome immediately. The superb breakfast, which was served in a beautiful conservatory, was just overwhelming!

Outstanding host, outstanding breakfast, outstanding views!

Outstanding host, outstanding breakfast, outstanding views! Room had great view, was clean and comfortable. We hated to leave. Conin's had THE best fish n chips and delicious tarter sauce. Close to Kinsale but far less hectic.

Crosshaven is friendly haven of tranquility for the visitor.

Crosshaven is friendly haven of tranquility for the visitor. Wonderful atmosphere with boating activities well catered for! Safe road side walks and adequate seating in public areas . Parking . Pubs shops and some surprising lite retail outlets. Few mins drive from or City off South link roadway.
