A lovely town - small but with a bustling centre full of life. Excellent range of cafes, bars and restaurants and interesting shops. The Costello chapel is a gem and the boardwalk by the river Shannon is beautiful. The town is also full of good hearted friendly people.

Wonderful, scenic and friendly place.

Wonderful, scenic and friendly place. We are looking forward to returning in the summer time to explore the lakes and woodland walks. We were in Letrim for a removal /funeral so did not have a lot of free time on this trip.

Beautiful setting, excellent facilities and great ambiance. Stayed with my parents and had a very relaxing time. Beds were very comfortable and the en suite facilities were great. Would to bring my grand kids and dog next time. Would definitely stay again.

A town with great character. Lovely, lively town. Beautiful marina. Great pubs, great food. Very historical town & beautiful little villages with lovely walks only a few miles outside of Carrick. The famous gun powder gin is distilled a few miles from Carrick in Drumshanbo. Flynns pub was great craic & great music. Likewise McHughs pub & Cryans pub were great also. Cryans hotel bar food was excellent. We had the peppered chicken with vegetables & chips & they brought out a potatoe, ham & leek dish on the house. It was fab. Really enjoyed our stay. Well worth a visit!

I had never been to Leitrim but I'm so glad I finally visited. It is a hidden and underrated gem. Carrick on Shannon is a gorgeous town. I love the boat tours on the RiverShannon, the boardwalk with the biodiversity garden. I love the streets with the nice cafes and bars and restaurants. There are two lovely book shops. I love the smallest church in Ireland on the corner of Main Street. The clock tower is a lovely landmark. I love the Leitrim Design Centre. The buildings are lovely. I felt safe I'm this town. There is a lovely community spirit. The local community has done brilliant work. The town is clean with no litter and the people are so friendly.

We had to change the date of our arrival because of weather conditions and this was no problem. I informed the hotel prior to our stay that we were celebrating our anniversary. Our room was upgraded free of charge. No.(62). The room was one of the best and most comfortable rooms that we have ever stayed in. The bathroom was wonderful, it had a great shower and a jacuzzi bath for your convenience. WOW!!. Thank you bush hotel for helping us have a wonderful and unforgettable anniversary. We will be back. 10/10.

It was my first trip to Ireland. Carrick on Shannon is a beautiful town. The accommodation was great. Comfortable beds, pillows and blanket were absolutely great. The lady was accommodating and we were able to check in, after a long journey, before the official check-in. Which was great. Everything was clean, fragrant and stylish. If I ever visit this town again, I will definitely use this accommodation again. Thank you very much, Petra Tiote and William Tiote.
