I stayed for a wedding and loved the castle and their staff so much I booked a second night. I have never stayed somewhere with staff who are so genuinely helpful and wonderful at their jobs. This also extends to the staff at the wedding. Food was fantastic and plentiful throughout the stay.

A welcoming home away from home! I had a wonderful weekend stay. The bedroom was large and comfortable with loch view, the bed welcoming. The breakfast as many others have said was epic! Super friendly staff, from the welcoming receptionist to the serving staff at breakfast- all very friendly and helpful. Room was excellent, with generous space and lovely ensuite. Location in the middle of Carrickmacross was perfect. Breakfast choices very good and food lovely. A wonderful stay...we will return.
