Good location. Lovely grounds lit up for Christmas, comfortable hotel furnishings of a timeless character and tastey breakfast. Staff were friendly and considerate as we had to cut our stay short due to a bereavement and was not a problem for the staff who facilitated a refund. They were also considerate and kind under the circumstances.

The room was beautiful, the decor was beautiful, the bathroom was amazing with a waterfall shower head and the beds were so comfortable and the room was nice and warm. one of the best places I have ever stayed.

wonderful for a short stay . very clean and modern. staff were very friendly .It was perfect for two nights. Evening meal downstairs in the pub was excellent and breakfast from across the road was perfect too. will be back.
