I loved my stay and would highly recommend this hotel for anyone in the area. What I really appreciated was how this location is both a cozy hotel and a center of life for Ashbourne. Even though I was only on a business trip, my stay made me feel that I had also experienced something of friendly local life. The hotel includes a very cozy pub, with good pub food (try the mushy peas!), super friendly and helpful staff, the locals are happy to chit-chat (if you want). The rooms are comfortable and it was also easy to get to from the airport and Dublin center by bus. It sits right in the center of Ashbourne.

Great hotel near Dublin Airport with a restaurant. We stayed there as we were leaving early next morning for our flight. The restaurant had good food and the hotel room was clean and very comfortable. Great water pressure for a shower and a comfortable Bed. What more do you need? The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Ashbourne was lovely to access Dublin if you don’t want the noise of the city centre. Plenty to do and see. The tour of Croke Park was the highlight for us. The best place to eat was Burgr. Very tasty and very clean.

As a family of 4 people attending the Harry styles concert in slane castle 🏰. After booking this Pilo hotel with two teenagers it was an absolute disgrace . I arrived back about 2 am to a room without any clean towels or bins 🗑 emptied. They also must have work going on as the loud banging noises from the room next door 🚪 I thought a hammer was coming through our walls . Before we left for the concert 🎵 I asked the cleaners to freshen up our room with clean towels and stuff and they just nodded at me . I’m not sure even if they speak English or not but very rude. No one was on reception and my husband had to drive to a shop to get loo roll 🧻 for our children 👧. The next morning as I was checking out I made staff aware of what happened and they said I should have called reception for assistance. The same reception we passed through on the way in this was unattended. Anyway they have fun cctv and they had the audacity to try and put the blame back on me saying I had put a do not disturb sign 🪧 on the door 🚪. This again was lie’s as I took a picture of my kids leaving for the concert 🎵 and no signs were hanging on my room door . The staff are very rude and also another lady who had the same problem as us was telling them about her stay . No towels for shower 🚿 or soap and loo rolls as well , so we all could not have been lying 🤥. I’ll never recommend this place for anyone else.

Good choice of Restaurants and shopping facilities. Ashbourne Garden Centre on the outskirts of the town had an excellent Cafe. If you were visiting Tayto Park it was a great base for families as it was very near.

Relaxing stay everything was done without any fuss. The hotel was so clean and comfortable very spacious yet warm. Only down side was there was no shampoo or conditioner in the room and no biscuits to have with your coffee .

I would like to say a big thanks to Ava for her hospitality her kindnes she went above and beyond on for us such a lovely woman and the apartment was absolutely amazing loved it beautiful inside spotless clean tidy and everything we all needed was there and the view was stunning thanks and we would highly recommend if but u would need to have car because it's a wee bit out of the road from we were at the Ashbourne and emerald park and funtasia theme park and everything were else thanks

The Lodge itself is beautiful, spacious. Excellent facilities for groups with plenty of space for all. The kitchen and open plan living space is stunning. The garden and seating area/pergola was perfect and safe for the kids to enjoy, relaxing to sit down to enjoy the outdoors, bbq or have a few drinks. The location in Ashbourne is perfect- a short walk away from anything you might want or need. The hosts were incredibly warm, welcoming and kind.

The apartment is beautiful. Perfect for 2 adults and 2 kids. Location was perfect for visiting Emerald Park and then chilling out with a movie in the evening. Very close to the shops in Ashbourne. The host was really quick to respond to any queries.
