Overall a great place with an industrial interior, exceeding my expectations for Wonosari, I'd give it a 10 if not the scam they tried to do. On arrival we were taken to a lower standard twin room, when I said I booked a different type of the room (double), they asked me how much I paid and said the room on the picture is more expensive as they work with reddoorz, blablabla. Not the client's problem that they cannot set the price and promotions on the booking platforms accordingly. In the end after the call with manager/owner? we were given the room according to the booking and all was good, but that left a bad first impression.

An absolute gem in the heart of Yogyakarta! We were so lucky to stay at this homestay - one of the best parts of our Java trip! The staff was the loveliest and has helped us organize the trip and enjoy the homestay. Do enjoy the pool and the home-cooked food they offer!

We had the most incredible stay at Light Blue Villa and it was all because of Sita, the amazing manager who made our experience in Indrayanti very memorable and special. She was so generous with her time and we never ran out of things to do. She booked us into a jeep tour to visit Timang Beach where we ate fresh lobster and walked across the swinging wooden bridge. One day she took us to Pindul Caves for a float on the river and we got to meet her beautiful Grandmother and Aunties who invited us into their home for a cup of tea. We also visited a Hindu temple at a nearby beach in Gunung Kidul where Sita introduced us to a holy man who showed us around the temple and translated his stories for us about ancient Java, Hinduism and Islam. It was one of the standouts of our whole trip. Sita and Erna’s cooking was also the best we had while in Indonesia and they even ran a cooking class for us on our last night which was so informative and delicious. Relaxing by the pool after a day of activities was really lovely as well and the Bure style accommodation is a short walk from the beach. We also were very happy to see there was hot water after reading old reviews about there being only cold water in the rooms. We had a magical time with Sita and would highly recommend staying - especially for visitors looking for an authentic experience away from the city.

The view from the hotel grounds was breathtaking. You can see full sunset and majestic views of the Merapi and the paddy fields. Food at the restaurant was delicious. Serving staffs are friendly. A nice place to just chill and unwind.
