Wow! What a brilliant resort. Brand new, the best! Rent the King suite, and you cannot have a better experience. Right on the beach, close to the pools (there are two) with unparalleled views. Take the two boats out if you feel like spending time on the water. Walk through the well designed gardens to the restaurant for your meals. Staff are friendly and aim to please. Spoil yourself with a few nights in this glamorous place. Do not come here for lively nightlife, come if you want to relax in quiet luxury.

This hotel is truly exceptional, and easily the best I’ve ever stayed at. The location is perfect for those seeking a peaceful retreat away from the noise and bustle of Ubud. The hotel offers everything you could possibly need, including the best food and spa in the area. In fact, we tried visiting a few cafes outside, and honestly, there's no reason to leave! :D Well, except for the beautiful temples nearby and beaches, of course. The staff here is outstanding, everyone is incredibly friendly, fluent in English, and always willing to assist. I reached out multiple times throughout the day for various requests, and they responded quickly and efficiently, without hesitation or unnecessary follow-up questions. It was such a seamless experience. The rooms are spacious and exactly as shown in the pictures, which was a pleasant surprise. Another thoughtful touch was their availability of yoga mats, which made it easy to stay active during my stay. The spa experience was nothing short of a dream. After a rejuvenating scrub and stress-relief facial, my skin was glowing. The next day, I followed it up with a massage, and it was an absolute 10/10 experience. The location is wonderfully remote, which we loved. However, I understand that it might be a bit inconvenient for some, as you’ll need a bike to reach the nearest shops. Personally, I didn’t enjoy walking in the area, so we immediately rented a motorbike, which was brought to us the same night, thanks to the hotel manager. That made it easy for us to explore the surroundings, but honestly, with everything the hotel has to offer, it was almost unnecessary! I highly recommend this hotel—it’s worth every penny. The level of service they provide is unmatched, and honestly, for such a high-quality experience, the price feels even cheap. But I hope they don’t start charging more, because I’d love to come back! :D Thank you so much for everything you did for us, dear team of Seaside Oceana Suites!!

Gaia-Oasis Abasan Mountain Retreat is one of the most beautiful places I have found in Bali and is most probably one of the last hidden paradises of peace and tranquility on the island. The vast property lays on a hillside and the buildings are nestled amongst the trees. There is a wonderful scent of Frangipani flowers all over the place. There are different accommodations to choose from, there is a 13-m pool in which extended swimming is possible and the place features Yoga and Meditation halls with stunning views. The main building is the restaurant, where delicious meals are served three times a day and free tea and flavoured water is available all day long. This place is perfect for people who wish to get away from the mainstream tourism, who love nature and are looking for a way to disconnect from a 24/7 availability. Internet is available in the main building/restaurant. Everything is very clean and well maintained. What makes the place unique, however, is the people: I met three of the founders and they where very hospitable and made me feel like home far away from home. All members of the staff are very friendly and go to great lengths to make sure their guests are well accommodated. Thank you Yen, Helen and Mariah for unforgettable moments. Terima Kasih, I will come back.

This was exceptional for the cost providing a nice stopover between Amed and Lovina. The area was very quiet with very few tourists. There are a few warungs within 10 minute walk. Rivan gave me a lift inyo the town centre and we booked him to drive us to Lovina. Thank you.

Tejakula is a great place away from the busy tourist areas...

Tejakula is a great place away from the busy tourist areas of the south beaches. There are great Warungs, bars and markets for shopping. We saw waterfalls, temples, hot springs and a family run salt farm. Quiet walks along the black sand beach and making friends with the locals are some of the reasons why we will come back to Tejakula.

The lack of traffic, the water is clean and clear I I live in Cairns on The Great Barrier Reef and found some splendid fresh, alive and undamaged coral to the right of a place called Prana Veda. Friendly people, no one nagging you. I eat wherever the locals eat usually, get a scooter use map app and explore

You have to try hard to discover it.

You have to try hard to discover it. Good for explorers not the typical tourists looking for insta ready things to do! Widis taxi right outside Alamanda resort is a great option to take you around. Widi is reasonable and if he likes you he gets his wife along for a one way drop to give you company.

Has the basics, food, liquor, friendly people and nice views. No footpath to walk on, there was a scooter hire place but I did not need it, has an ATM but not for Aussie Card Holders = that is 1.2km North of town. 3-4 nights here is about the right amount of time.

Away from the hustle and bustle of south Bali super tourist spots. Genuine location near local village - quiet lifestyle of locals. Plenty of day trip options to temples, volcano, waterfalls. Scuba area well known for the reef diving. Just lovely and not a 'try hard' area.

We liked that it wasn't touristy at all.All the little shops down the road were locals shops.we watched locals net fish and make salt.local people drove us to interesting local places.roosters woke us up at sunrise.we could hear the ocean at night.

This hotel in northern Bali is really great. The food is amazing, and there's a big garden with fruits. They have two swimming pools and two yoga gyms that you can use anytime. They provide snorkeling equipment and also helped us with organizing motorbikes and diving. Also there is a traditional market located within a 10-minute walk from the hotel, where you can buy local sweets, fresh fish, a great place to visit to feel the real Bali! I definitely recommend to visit this part of the island at least once!

Our stay at The Jing was very nice, it's a quiet location and our room was very spacious. There are only three rooms which creates a really quite atmosphere with attention for details from the staff. The included breakfast & diner were very good, and every night was a treat! Because it was our honeymoon, the hosts prepaired a very nice dinner next to the sea, with candles, flowers & music. Would highly recommend this place & would come back if I travel to Bali again.

What an incredible place. A paradise in North Bali. I often found myself looking around thinking how beautiful the place is. Huge, clean and picturesque. The staff - Ari, Korang and Putu - are all so nice, welcoming and very helpful. I couldn’t recommend this property enough. And we can’t forget the cutest little addition - Mocha, the villa dog 🐶 who will be there to greet you at the door with lots of cuddles.
