We had one of our nicest stays ever here. We stayed in the little house which is so beautiful and comfortable. Ayu and Markus are so friendly and welcoming, it is 100% the feeling of a homestay. The garden is beautiful and the little pool is excellent for refreshment. It's far away from the road, so no noise from the street. Only the sound of the mosque comes through. The kitchen is wel equipped and there's a ping-pong and pool table. We were sad to leave after a week!

First of all the location was great. Not even 5 min from the surf point. Breakfast was included and when you ordered they actually brought it to your room. Our room had a door to the balcony with some chairs and a table outside. And a view to the ocean. The staff was really friendly and always available.

Initially intended to stay for 2 days I ended up staying here for 3 weeks. This place is in the heart of a traditional Balinese village, something what Canggu or rest of Bali must have been decades ago. The property is a tropical dream, made of bamboo, wood, glass which gives a real raw feeling but the beds and bathroom and the atmosphere are very comfortable. Make sure you can ride a scooter because it's about 2kms from the surf spot, but trust me it's a good thing. There aren't many hostels like this left anywhere in Bali. Sup, the owner/manager is a really cool guy who instantly makes you feel welcomed. All fellow surfers I met here were humble, grounded, authentic adventurers. Book it and enjoy your stay!

This place is a surfer's haven. Awesome decor, a great communal area, and atmosphere, just minutes away from some of the best left-handers in the world! When we arrived Sole organized a scooter for us to hire for the week. We went for surf lessons every morning. Muklis was out of action as he took a skateboard to the head, unfortunately. This was no issue though! Pro coaches Daffa, Araman, and Sole were fantastic. These guys have endless energy, passion, and love for their job and bring all the good vibes and big smiles every day. We were very thankful to have their knowledge of some more unknown surf spots along the coast as it can get pretty busy at Medewi Point. My partner and I are beginner/intermediate surfers wanting to progress from longboarding to riding a shorter board. With the coaches setting us up with the best waves ( and a big extra push on the take-off for me :P) we were able to practice carving, have way too much fun on some amazing waves, and achieve our goal!! We did a video analysis after our session and were able to keep all of our videos. We also really enjoyed the food here, the camp has a service where you can order really well-priced food from a local restaurant with no delivery fee. We made some great friends at great memories here and are already planning our trip to come back :) Muklis and his family are incredibly welcoming and make the surf camp truly feel like a home away from home! This place really is a hidden gem, if you were to have a more authentic experience of Indonesian culture meet great people, and catch some great waves this is the place to come!

This was my first trip to Bali and I was lucky enough to book Puri Dajuma. Location by the sea around three hours from Denpasar is phenomenal. Hotel has simply amazing restaurant with Balinese menu that is fantastic. Staff is beyond anything I have ever experienced. During my stay I was one night in Soka A Villa. Then few nights in Sari B Villa and last night in Golden Suite. All of them were really pleasant and I will recommend any of them. Hotel had selection of trips and we tried temple tour and during the trip we also visited turtle conservation center and local market. Superb. I will definately visit Puri Dajuma again.

This part of Bali is reminiscent of the Bali that existed...

This part of Bali is reminiscent of the Bali that existed around Kuta 42 years ago. Rice paddies, beach, mountains…back to nature. It’s a peaceful part of Bali and we hope it stays that way as long as possible. We only stayed one night but would love to come back with family. Some of the sights around Bali are easier to access from here. Definitely recommend Puri Dajuma Eco Resort to explore this part of Bali and some of the rest of it.

Chilled mostly, bunches of Canggu ? surfer kooks in the morning in surf. Locals/expats are great, great little community you can wrap your head around as a Lombok expat. Less choices is sometimes better, easy to get info and shared knowledge. Gilmanuk road is not for the beginners...nor is the big surf.

If you are wanting excitement, nightlife and a lot of shops...

If you are wanting excitement, nightlife and a lot of shops and bars then this is not the place for you. It does give you access to north Bali - but there is still a lot of travelling involved - however if someone who knows the roads is driving then it is enjoyable and gives you the opportunity to take more notice of the scenery. We loved staying in the Kelapa Retreat and Spa and we used the restaurant there for the whole of our stay. The beach is lovely. It is long and suitable for surfing and swimming and walking along

If you're looking to get away from the crowds, look no...

If you're looking to get away from the crowds, look no further. We walked for an hour along the beach and met just a handful of people. Get here before they finish the motorway as I'm sure it won't be the same! The sea is a little bit rough, but the beach is amazing for walking.

The beaches here are relatively remote and crowd free. The surf can be challenging for general swimming, as can the rocks but it has a lovely vibe and the locals gather to socialise on the beach too, which adds to its interest as a place to visit. Authentic Bali! Pulukan Town is quote ordinary but nearby Medewi has a small strip of surf shops and good restaurants.

Breakfast was great and so was dinner. Loved being by the sea and the swimming pools were wonderful. Our room was spacious and well equipped, the bathroom was huge and had plenty of towels and toiletries. Great to have books available to swop with ones we'd read. The hotel did a touching birthday welcome by decorating our bed which I really liked.

Amazing hotel amazing stay. The hotel staff were so welcoming and attentive. The food was great and wide variety of choice of the menu. Room was immaculate and staff cleaned daily. Everyone who works here really makes a huge effort to ensure guests have a great stay. I will be back and would highly recommend to my friends and family 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Fabulous point location right at surfs edge! Amazing property with the most friendly and helpful staff! The boutique size of hotel with most generous rooms are beautifully presented and have an amazing covered deck facing the surf add up to make one of my most favourite Bali stays!

One of the best hotels in Medewi, especially for surfing as the beach break is right in front and the point break is around 10min paddle. Dawok (the manager) and the staff are super caring for their guests. Great vibes and breakfast by the pool.
