Tucked away in the middle of nature, the hotel offers stunning views of the surrounding rice fields and complete silence – just the sounds of birds and the wind in the trees. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere felt truly serene. What really stood out was the exceptional hospitality – the staff went above and beyond, even helping us arrange transport to a fantastic nearby restaurant (one of the best meals we had during our trip!). There are honestly no downsides. It’s the perfect spot to disconnect, breathe, and enjoy the beauty of rural life. Highly recommended for anyone looking to recharge

This place in Bali it’s so beautiful , It's so Incredibly calm and quiet. It's just a paradise in nature. There is nothing around the villa where we lived that could disturb your peace. All around are only beautiful views of nature, the sounds of birds, and the murmur of a mountain river below. We are impressed by the dedication of the villa's owner, Juli, to her guests. A big thanks to her kitchen staff for the great food. Her housekeepers and groundskeepers also do a great job. There are no TVs, which is great because we didn't even miss them. TVs are simply unnecessary in a place like this. WiFi works great throughout the villa . Getting to Bali River Retreat from the port for a local transfer was no problem. I recommend this villa to anyone who wants to be surrounded by real nature.

The location is like on the pictures. It is like beed and breakfast. All family members are very friendly. Good mood all around. 😀 Be aware, that price is set into, ration. It is not a ***** hotel. Room I had is very simple and functional. In the bathroom might it smell not too good. If this might be an issue for you, do not book the small rooms. Be also aware, that your room won't be in one of the fancy houses. Bed, good, not to soft. Aircon. perfect. Drinking water is for free. Breakfast is good and you can eat also the other meals there. Near by: - Spring water pool - Chocolate factory - Backery (cakes not bread)

I have been to Bali many times and this was definitely one of the top places I have stayed. The setting is amazing, beautiful garden, great seating area overlooking the small pool and river. The kitchen is well stocked with all the utensils you need to do your own cooking. A five minute walk takes you into Desa Tua where you can buy fresh fruit, vegetables, eggs, tofu and tempe. There is also a mini mart with any other supplies you need. The bedroom/living area is very comfortable and the bathroom is big and clean. The owners have done all they can to make your stay comfortable - things like a small first aid kit, a speaker you can connect your phone to, scissors, a torch - they have thought of almost everything. Wayan is a friendly host and can organise a motorbike - there a few beautiful waterfalls in the area - and can help you with onward transport. The place offers a peacefulness that is getting harder and harder to fins in Bali.

Absolutely love it. What makes this hotel stand out isn't just the beautiful forest view or the private pool, but the staff. 100/10 for them. The Balinese team is so welcoming and respectful; they take pride and pleasure in ensuring you have a memorable stay. The property was exactly what we wanted which was a bamboo villa in the jungle. The cobra room was so beautiful and the outdoor shower was a nice design and the temperature and pressure was great. The circular bed was very large and comfortable and the infinity pool was gorgeous. The massages were also very good and although I wasn’t feeling the best beforehand, I felt really good afterwards - very healing.

Angu, was an excellent host who gave us a tour of the area, including some amazing waterfalls and his houses located nearby, which were of great tourist interest because they were very large and featured ancient temples Also the breakfast and the dinner that we had from chef Wayan has super tasty The suit girl Eza also was wonderful person and she did everything for us!!! The villa was amazing!!!!!! Just amazing!!!!
