Very new and well maintained property, rooms and territory are kept very clean, lovely atmosphere. The towels and linens are soft and nicely aromatised. Beachfront, you hear the ocean from bed, you can just walk out of your own private house and dip in the sea, snorkel and close to the shore already, spot beautiful corals and fishies. The room is spacious, beds comfy and a clean, nice, big bathroom, the style is more rustic but has all the services, there’s new airco, kettle and cute tea station. It is a family business and the owner is always available and willing to help you having the best experience. There are scooters on site for rent so we didn’t have to go anywhere else to hire one, anyways it’s walking distance from nice bars and restaurants like the popular Mambo and Penida Colada. We loved everything about this beach House, specially for Aga, the owner who is a smart man, was so nice and always open to chat, we enjoyed so much and learned a lot about Bali and got nice tips for the rest of our trip, he also provides transportation if you request it. We would stay here again, no doubt.

Nusa Penida is a wild island, there are stunning views and beaches. It is not easy to wonder around. Roads are bad and it is not the best if you are not an expert with the scouter, in that case you will need to use the local drivers. I suggest Crystal Bay, and Klingking Beach (for sure). If you got to do the snorkeling with the Manta Rays go early, later it is really crowded. Consider that it takes long time to go in the main point of interests.

What i loved about Nusa Penida- was the vibe of the island, peaceful, friendly, laid back, without the hype of Bali. We walked to a number of great restaurants and beach clubs which were divine. We hired a bike and experienced Goa Giri Putri Temple that was a wonderful experience. We Rode to Kelingking Beach- magnificent scenery - downside is the roads are really terrible, narrow and at times very rough, and the cars with tourists were travelling fast, with little consideration for bike riders so we pulled over a lot to allow them to pass for our own safety.

I loved everything I saw here, just wish I could have stayed...

I loved everything I saw here, just wish I could have stayed longer. I stayed at Prapat Beach, which was close enough to Penida Ferry Port and stunning, with an amazing view of Agung on a clear day. My accomodation was in a great spot and is as advertised. Sari Nadi Beach Stay is only a few k's from the harbour but with traffic, it took around 30mins. I did a tour of West island beaches, which I found disappointing because it was so busy, shoulder-to-shoulder busy! It felt it was impossible to really enjoy it with so many people. The walk down to Kelingking Beach might have been worth it if you didn't have to keep stopping for someone to get their perfect shot! The drive through the countryside was worth it alone though, and if your new to the island, it's a great way to get your bearings for a return visit. Crystal Beach was my pick of the beaches, just don't forget to bring a towel or change to hire one and a bed. Otherwise, you can sit at a table. Overall, I can't wait to go back! One tip, check if there are any days of (religious) observance when you stay. My stay coincided with Nyepi Laut, 'Silence of the Ocean' which means no water activity, great for me because it meant peace and quiet but not if you needed to travel that day.

Unfortunately , NP seems to have far too many visitors for what the road infrastructure can handle . The roads to all the local sightseeing hotspots are not wide enough for oncoming vehicle to pass each other without driving on the shoulder of the road ( if it exists ) and constantly causing further damage ,. The roads surfaced are very badly broken a terribly pot- holed . Vehicle journeys to the popular destinations take an inordinately long time with traffic banked up while cars try to pass each other when they can . On the plus ; the restaurants and beach clubs and bars serve excellent food and live music nightly was easy to find . And entertaining . The coastline scenery is fantastic . Itis why so many people make trip . The fast ferry services from Sanur to NP are very good and only 30 minutes .

you can see it in 2 days pretty much. We did find some great little restaurants. Coco Penida and Tropiz. food and service were excellent. Penida is a must see but probably once every blue moon is enough

We did the diving course so 3 course + 3 days beaches are...

We did the diving course so 3 course + 3 days beaches are enough for a quick visit. But if you want to relax with the view there plan in more days. Be careful for overpriced taxis as there is no Grab or other alternatives. Take the scooter as much as you can.

We had a wonderful stay! The island is beautiful and the view from the pool out to Crystal Bay is amazing! The bungalows are clean, cosy and private. All the food from the on-site restaurant was great with some great places nearby. Another highlight was the manager Gerry and all the staff who were so lovely! So helpful and kind, organising everything we needed and communication was consistently good. You couldn’t pick a more relaxing, beautiful spot for a stay in Nusa Penida, do yourself a favour and go!

Maua is a great boutique hotel, probably the nicest one on Nusa Penida. With a great view on the main island of Bali and Mount Agung. We loved the hotel so much that we didn't feel like going out. Our room had a private pool but we enjoyed the main pool, which is bigger than the ones in other hotels in Bali. The food was good with a special mention to the breakfast menu and the Chinese New Year dinner. Also the staff was nice with easy check-in and check-out.

The property is 10/10. Fantastic staff and owners. Newly built property. Unlike other hotels on Nusa Penida, this hotel features yoga, meditation, diving and spa services on site. And great natural and healthy food and juices in a beautiful garden setting overseeing the sacred Volcano. Also activities at night like live music and movie night. Staff can organise trips to all the wonderful sightseeing on Nusa Penida.
