The house is stunning and Laurent was a fantastic host. The room we stayed in was beautiful with a comfortable bed and spacious ensuite. There are amazing views from everywhere in the house and plenty of places to relax and read a book. The pool was refreshing and the garden is a beautiful area to spend time. Laurent cooked our meals and carefully catered for our dietary requirements (coeliac). Laurent suggested great activities to do during the day and even set us up with a wonderful driver who was familiar with the area and charged fair rates. The house is located at 600m off the main road on a rocky gravel path, we recommend using Laurent's taxi driver if you plan on arriving by car - he will message you about this before your stay. Other drivers may drop you off at the top of the path and overcharge you. We would absolutely stay here again and couldn't recommend it more highly.

We had an amazing time staying with Laurent. The house is beautiful and very well decorated, with an incredible open view across the jungle especially the amazing sunsets. We could wake up to the sound of the birds singing in the morning and it's the perfect place to just rest and read in the middle of nature. Laurent made us some lovely food for lunch and dinner including an incredible fish soup and the pancakes for breakfast were exceptional! Nothing to complain about and we would definitely come back again. He said they will have WiFi later this year, but actually it's the perfect place to digital detox....just make sure you bring some books! He can arrange day trips to waterfalls etc., but we chose to just relax at the house. There are lots of comfy places to sit or lie around. Recommend to use Laurent's driver for transfer as the approach road is a little tricky but no issue for his driver (there are plans to pave the road ).

What did I like about the property? Well everything actually! We liked it soo much we visited twice in a few days. The location is just amazing. A little bit away from the main road (not a very good road though) and therefore very quiet. The place is surrounded by beautiful forests full of birds. The lodges are simple but exactly enough. Be aware there’s no electricity and wifi, so make sure to charge your devices. The food is simply astonishing. Locally grown, made on woodfire and served with love. We ordered the vegan option, which was very reasonably priced. The staff working there is very kind and hospitable. If you look for accommodation close to Labuan Bajo or on your way to the east, definitely stay here!

Beautiful birds singing all day but so quiet in the Villa. The cafe was up high off the main thoroughfare but was fun dining and watching the locals pass by with their colourful vehicles

The house and its surroundings ware absolutely magnificent. Great bed, and a view to die for. Jungle vibes all around. Very clean, very comfortable and spaceous. The swiming pool is picture perfect, albeit not very big. Great knowledgeable host who is very friendly and helpful. You can have excellent freshly cooked breakfast and dinner in the house, prepared by wonderful Femi. We had an amzing time and couldn't stop taking pictures and video's of the house and the view :-) Too bad we stayed only 2 nights.

Realy exceeded my expectations ..it's a little house you get..which is also a art gallery..the young owner is a painter ..and all that in a village 10 km out of Labuan Bajo town ..enough shops and foodstalls around ..

The location is perfect and the value for money you can’t beat. The food and atmosphere on the roof are amazing after a day of diving. Everything is clean and freshly painted. Easy to book diving with Uber Scuba from the hotel and a ten min walk in the morning to get the boat. Already recommended it to all my friends.

I had a fantastic stay! The hotel was spotless and very quiet, and I slept incredibly well. The staff were extremely kind and helpful throughout my stay.
