We loved this place!!! We had the absolute best time in this Bungalow. Joe and his wife received us when we arrived with a welcome drink and helped set up an excursion plan for the following day that was more complete than just visiting the waterfalls. It was called Panorama Walk and we definitely recommend it. We had fantastic and super interesting conversations with him, and we felt like we got to know some of their culture. The food was excellent and fairly priced. The couple is very very kind, welcoming and attentive. The area around the Bungalows is great and worth it to explore! If we are back in Lombok we will definitely comeback here again.

Staying here felt like coming home after wandering for a long time and not knowing where I truly belonged. I stayed here for a little less than a week and I wish I could have stayed longer... The location is excellent, providing easy access to the Waterfalls and Mount Rinjani. Also the rooms were just newly renovated and are big nice and clean. However, what truly makes this place special are the wonderful people who work here. The owner and her staff went above and beyond to show and guide me to so many beautiful hidden spots that I would never have discovered as a typical traveller. They even went as far and go Camping with me, just because i wanted to take some night time pictures!!! All of the staff have become dear friends to me, and I genuinely can’t wait to come back and see everyone again! If you're looking for a place to stay in senaru, this is it! You won’t regret it!

Staying at Rudy Trekker Guest House was the perfect start to my Rinjani adventure. From the moment I arrived, the staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome and well cared for. The check-in was smooth, and they immediately helped me prepare for my trek with clear explanations, tips, and a genuine concern for my safety and comfort. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet — exactly what you need before taking on a challenging hike. The hot shower and air conditioning were a blessing, and the bed gave me a truly restful night’s sleep. Their restaurant serves delicious local food, and the pool with jungle views is a wonderful bonus to relax before or after trekking. What impressed me most, however, was the hospitality and thoughtfulness of the team. They made sure I had everything I needed, patiently answered all my questions, and checked that I felt confident and safe before starting the climb. I never felt like just another guest; I felt genuinely looked after. If you’re planning to trek Rinjani, I can’t recommend Rudy Trekker enough. Their warmth, professionalism, and care for both guests and the mountain make them stand out in every way.

The most authentic accommodation we had on our 5 month travel through south east asia so far. Nip and Awan just opened in April 2024 and have two very nice bungalows/huts surrounded by nature, which were just build in December 2023. So everything is new and looks amazing. We stayed in the wooden hut which was so nice because the walls let air in the room and so it was always a comfortable temperature, even without an AC. The room is also equipped with a mosquito net but that was generally not a big problem. But the best thing about this accommodation is definitely the lovely hosting family, who made us feel very welcome right from the start. They organized the Rinjani Trekking for us for a very good price and know a lot about the area there, as Nip used to be a guide at Mt. Rinjani. They also provide breakfast and dinner, as there is no restaurant nearby. So I would recommend you to have a scooter there to explore the environment around the homestay (e.g. the waterfalls in Senaru). It's worth getting up early and admiring the sunrise from the terrace. We are very happy to have stayed at this place and have got to know this lovely people there. We‘ll come back!!

This was one of the best places I’ve stayed in my many months of travelling and definitely the best value for money. The rooms and bathrooms were so clean and beautiful and the balcony view was incredible. The delicious (and large) free breakfast is also delivered to your balcony. Comfortable beds, A/C and a hot shower. The owners were so friendly, going out of their way to make sure all my needs were catered for. Two of the young guys there also took me to the waterfall last minute which was really fun! The place is situated next door to the waterfalls entrance and restaurants and is a perfect place to stay after the challenging Rinjani hike (or if you’re just visiting Seranu). Thank you again for a beautiful stay!
