A very welcoming homestay. Easy check in. A good restaurant just 100 meters away. The room was spacious with own bathroom and hot water. A nice small porch with a couple of chairs and a view over the beautiful village. The breakfast was great. Coffee or tea with fruits, omelette and pancakes. The owners are most friendly and speak English. A perfect stay for one or two nights to explore the area.

We loved our stay. The room is big also the bathroom. Good quality price. The owner also find us a driver to pick at the aeroport that at the end drive us in all our trip in Flores. Very good.

This is the most beautiful homestay of Flores! Especially because of the lovely people. Jhon, the owner, will go 100000 extra miles for you. We loved every second of our stay here. Make sure you will do the rice field trip with them. So lovely. Note: it is a bite outside town. We loved this… but know this! Before you go. @Jhon, all the best for you and your great family and staff! We will be back one day!

- The owner was really helpful before we arrived in Flores and arranged for a private transfer from Bajawa to Moni and to Ende the next day. They also arranged for a walking tour of Kelimutu NP and surrounding villages. I’d recommend booking the walking tour as we got a local guide (Francisco) who went us to the volcano, talked to us about the history and kept us patient to wait until the clouds cleared to see the lakes. Lots of people had left the summit as they were frustrated with the clouds but the local guide assured us that it would clear (and it did!) - New property and really modern interior. Unique experience for the area. The bathroom in particularl is really well designed. - Tasty breakfast and looked after us once we came back from Kelimutu which was late morning which was really appreciated.

The kindest and most welcoming hosts, set in the beautiful location of Moni. Hans, Emelda & family really made us feel like we were at home - from inviting us to their Son’s celebration one evening, tending to our injuries after we took a fall, arranging buses for us, and organising for their Nephew Anton to show us around his village. We fully recommend if you want a homestay that make you feel like part of their family!

"We had a wonderful stay at Shila Bungalow. Yohanes and Rosa, the owners, are incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure that all requests are met. Each morning, we enjoyed a fantastic breakfast on the terrace, which was the perfect way to start the day. We felt completely comfortable and welcomed throughout our stay and would love to come back. Highly recommended!"

Beautiful location with incredible views from room, dining area and hotel generally. Already halfway up to kelimutu making sunrise start a touch later Beautiful rooms Mie goreng for breakfast was tasty. Staff were friendly and helpful, including helping with bags up stairs.

Great place worth viewing, I would recommend taking a picnic...

Great place worth viewing, I would recommend taking a picnic up there so you can spend more time there and have lunch they are plenty of different spots to wonder around l. The forest is beautiful which is something you don't really see when walking through in the dark for sunrise.

Worth the effort & time spent on travelling to get to ur destination in Flores… worth my trip here!!! So if u are considering whether to come or not, waste no time… book ur flights and jus get here, people here will assist u the travelling plans, but just need to be careful with some transportation charges! There are always cheaper way to get ard…

Very nice sunrise if the weather permits.

Very nice sunrise if the weather permits. Very marvelous view over the crater on the top of the hill. Walking a bit of the track is possible too if you would like to see a bit closer to the crater. The track is very easy!
