We arrived 2 days earlier than our booking and Moses made our stay feel like a family visit right from the first phonecall. Since the hotel was fully booked he made his second place - Puri Mau Beach Bungalows - available to us even before officially opening the place. We had exceptional days there with full service at the Beach and at the same time we had the chance to visit a wedding as well as a traditional festival in the local villages together with Moses ! He knows everybody through his abundant social activities and community involvement an invited us like family members. We had the time of a lifetime - with truly exceptional experiences !! Thanks again Moses !! Apart from this VERY friendly and open athmosphere the two places - Bajawa Roo Hotel & Puri Mau Beach Bungalow were also best in class - just perfect. We can’t recommend this place enough !!! A must stay in Bajava !! Have fun there.

We really enjoyed our stay at Benabilla Cottage. The host, Ichan, was wonderful, super friendly and helpful. The service was amazing and the location was perfect to explore all the highlights around Bajawa, like the Iniri volcano, the hot springs and the traditional village. We’d definitely recommend staying here!

Everything. Arnold went out of his way to make sure my trip was perfect. He is also a fantastic guide, extremely knowledgeable of the surrounding area. He planned my trip to perfection, at very honest and reasonable prices. I only wish I spent more time in the area since there is so much to see. Between native villages, volcanoes and idyllic hot springs, I felt I was in a national geogeaphic documentary. Arnold's guesthouse is very comfortable, extremely clean and the breakfast cooked by his wife Maria is simply the best. Those pancakes will leave you wanting more. Thank you so much again Arnold for planning the perfect trip and sharing your knowledge and culture with me. I will be back soon to go to 17 islands! 🙏

What’s not to like? You get a huge bungalow, a wonderful view of Gunung Inerie, and the yummiest food served at their restaurant. The view from the restaurant when you step out onto the verandah is drop-dead gorgeous - leaving no doubt as to why the place is called Heaven’s Door.
