This is my second stay with karibia, and Karibia's customer service is a standout, cannot be faulted. I stayed at another hotel for majority of my stay (to try out other hotels in Medan) and then came back to Karibia for that excellent and welcoming experience. The lobby smells good, your room smells good, and nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff. The bellhop/porters are fantastic, you feel like VIP 👍 👌 TIP them well, they deserve it! Everything. It is well located in Medan. The staff are exceptional and couldnt do more for you. The room (for which I was kindly upgraded) was spacious and comfortable, with great facilities - safe, fridge, hairdryer, aircon. Breakfast was accommodating to most / all diets - I was concerned as a vegetarian but I left having had plenty.

Great hotel, near the center of Medan. Large nice rooms, large beds. Room equipped with fridge, electric kettle, safe. Great breakfast buffet, many dishes to choose from. Very nice pool. Hotel worth recommending. Helpful staff, you feel like you are at home. I recommend the hotel, the best we have been to in Sumatra.

We booked this hotel as we only needed a night before our Komodo Island Tour. It was conveniently next to the airport so we could walk to it. The property is also new and still being constructed. The bed provided was nice and big and comfortable.

Their executive room is the best value in Medan and beyond. Breakfast is very rich, they have a business center too, not sure why the hotel is only 3-star, maybe due to it's relatively small size or the immediate surroundings (location is centric but outside street is a bit dusty and hectic). But the experience is 5 star, at least when staying in an executive room.
