The High Dive is run by Nigel and Lisa - wonderful people that will do everything to make you feel at home. It is perfectly located in the south of the island and has a reef that can be explored right in front. The owners are very helpful in any way (organisation of diving, snorkeling, sailing etc) and put strong emphasis on running the hotel in an ecofirendly way. As such litter is being collected and all thrash is brought back to the mainland. The staff as well is amazing. We will definitely come back.

We had such a lovely time here. Alain and Ita are amazing and welcoming, as are the rest of the ladies! It felt truly authentic and the food was out of this world. If you’re looking to really experience island life, this is the place to stay

We felt very welcome and everyone from the staff was very attentive. Thank you all! A great place to take time off, just relax and enjoy snorkeling, diving and island hopping. The resort was very clean. The weather was really nice in December, mostly sunny.

The AC! The breakfast, the free water refills and most of all long conversations with Sofie who is a wonderful host. Her husband can organise snorkel tours on his own boat for very good prices also tours and transfers to Lombok. There is one warang on this side of the island.

Gilli Gede is an easily accessible island and from there we were able to arrange day trips to neighbouring islands, the snorkelling was fantastic and the local village was welcoming. facilities and restaurants were great, just need to make sure you bring enough cash as there is no reliable ATM on the island.

Gili Gede is the perfect base to see other Gili and Lombok.

Gili Gede is the perfect base to see other Gili and Lombok. It’s has five fishing villages, five mosques and one school with interesting everyday life going on all around, it’s just not a tourist island. I ate fish caught one hour before and cooked at Warung Bamboo of the best little Warungs on the beach - cool music and sensational food!

The resort organised a snorkelling trip which was great,just my husband and I with a guide. Fresh water and towels provided on a very comfortable boat. The traditional sasak massage was one of the bestI have had,1 1/2 hours of bliss
