This is a fantastic place! The reef is right at your fingertips, and the resort reef is rich in sea life and so colourful. It's a private island with many amenities. The caring and delightful staff will not only cook delicious meals for you but also organize excursions and transport from/to Sorong. On the islet itself, it's cozy – you can observe flyingfox bats, cuscuses, and coconut crabs. This place is a wonderful escape to paradise!

We had a wonderful stay with Mr. Jems, Mrs. Donna and their family. The houses are set right on a stunning, quiet white-sand beach, close to a charming village with happy children and friendly people all around. The hosts are incredibly welcoming, serving excellent home-cooked Indonesian meals, even fresh-caught fish grilled over a BBQ for lunch, and delicious cakes at coffee time. The coral reef just in front of the houses is vibrant and full of marine life, and the beach is always kept spotless. The entire family helps run the homestay, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Guests can enjoy captivating live music played on handmade instruments and take part in thoughtfully organized day trips for birdwatching, waterfall hikes, and more—all with pristine rainforest just steps from their doorstep.

This is Coco and Echo from China!!! We had unbelievable 4 nights in Marwes Homestay, Ervin brought us to see Meta, Kuskus, Coconut crab, sunset…everything we would like to see just tell Ervin! He's a sweet, reliable, smart boy with big smile, and definitely an artist with many talents on painting , artworks. Ervin learned English by himself, very fascinating please keep up the goodwork, and we will see you next time!! nThere is a village 5 mins walk from the homestay, we went for walk everyday and the people kids there are just sooo Nice. This is absolutely a loving big family with a lot of laughters every day. And the food and homemade cake by the aunts are so delicious we will definitely miss them after we back to China. We also had a lot of fun go fishing with William, a funny boy always laughing. Joel, another sweet boy but very very shy, reliable though hhh! We strongly recommend you stay here if you come to Batanta! They even prepare breakfast for us when we leave 5 am.

Everything ! Faldo and all the family were exceptional ….. our best homestay of our whole trip. Friendly , helpful , lovely people . Accommodation , food , available activities , entertainment….. all were just great .

Excellent food, great variety, plenty of it. Important thing where is no shops and restaurants. Terrace with breeze from the sea. Never hot to leisure or sleep. Great friendly staff.

You know how people only ever write a review when an experience was either truly bad or exceptionally good. Well, this review will be an exceptionally good one. It was our first time in Raja Ampat, let alone Indonesia. Eddo Homestay was our first accommodation and we had low expectations from what we generally read about accommodations in Raja Ampat and because it was a newly built place with few reviews. However, our expectations were exceeded. The first thing I wanna highlight is the hospitality, kindness and service of all the staff there. I especially want to mention Acho, the guy who manages the Homestay and took care of anything we needed. The first two days we were the only two guests at the Homestay and had the best experiences. Acho personally went snorkeling with us at Yenbuba Jetty, took us to a Sandbank, to Sauwandarek Village and Arborek. He was pretty much our personal guide and we enjoyed every single minute of it. He went above and beyond to fulfill all our "wishes" / requests, no matter what it was about (excursions, food, more data for our sim card, etc.). He would also always sit with us for every meal, talk to us, share about life in Indonesia. It was like hanging out with your older brother. They also tried their best to offer a variety of different foods each day. For breakfast we had toast, fried eggs, pancakes, Nutella, jam, cheese and one day (upon our request) even Avocado. For lunch and dinner it's mostly rice but always with either fish, meat, vegetables, salad, etc. And always delicious. Our highlight were the chocolate chip cornflakes with cold fresh milk though. The cabins were very spacious with a double bed and mosquito net, a couch, a little closet area with hangers and a fan. The bathroom was huuuge and beautifully designed. Each cabin has a terrace with two lounge chairs where we mostly hung out. We had everything we needed. The entire place was very clean, the cabins, the restaurant, everything.

The location is perfect, close to the most beautiful dive spots. Food was really good and staff is super friendly. They try really hard to make your stay comfortable.

Perfect location, a good stay, very nice wooden houses. Rio is a perfect bridge between the owner family and your needs, wants, questions. He will help you the best he can to make your stay there unforgetable.

I spent the most amazing holidays there. Tina is an incredible cooker, the food was amazing. She is also really kind and helpful. The room is also really nice, with the best view for sunset and sunrise. Really clean, water and electricity working great. I recommend 100% and I’ll definitely come back to this paradise.
