We loved the hotel, the entire experience was great! The staff was friendly, polite and helpful. The room was clean and everything we needed was there. Complete facilities: Hairdryer, ironing board +iron, a very nice selection of minibar and snacks. Enough water, tea and coffee. The shower is great, very spacious and can give hot water. Sometimes hot water is a problem in hotels, not here. Relaxing rainshower. Toilet with built in bidet, a box full of personal equipment (toothbrushes, toothpaste, comb, mouthwater, showercap, sewing set etc) The room was clean, no strange smells or smoke. Also it was quiet enough, we didn't hear the street. Only the mosques were observable. Adam the concierge was very friendly and helpful with loading our luggage into the car.

Everything about our stay was wonderful, especially the staff. The hospitality was top-notch! My daughter received a teddy bear from the receptionist, which made her extremely happy as she exclaimed, "This is the best hotel ever!" The breakfast was exceptional, offering a variety of traditional Indonesian, Asian, and Western dishes. We were also greeted with a welcome message in our room. The accommodations were spacious enough to comfortably fit four adults. Overall, it was one of our best stays.

The Noor Hotel is such a pretty little hotel that immediately makes you feel at ease with its stylish soft blue colour palette throughout. Our room was compact but beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches like free snacks, and a basket with a Koran and prayer mats for guests who need them. If you arrive late like we did, the room service is an excellent option as the food is really tasty and reasonably priced. The morning breakfast buffet is similarly great with a wonderful mix of Indonesian and continental dishes to suit the whole family. The location is perfect for exploring Bandung's cultural highlights as you can easily walk to Gedung Sate and several interesting museums nearby. The Noor Hotel strikes that perfect balance between style and comfort, with attentive service that makes you feel right at home. A fantastic choice for your Bandung stay!

A very comfortable hotel to stay! Doesnt really feel like a 3 stars, but felt like. 4 stars instead. You are being welcome of nice scent in the lobby and the room smells nice too when you first enter. The room is spacious, plenty of space to put belongings. The hotel is at strategic location, near to Station Bandung, Indomaret and Sendja. Comfortable bed, cool aircond, the floor is not sticky. The worker all friendly, attentive and very helpful. Both the bellboy who were on shift during my stay 5-7 December were very helpful and friendly. Asked for their help to cross the road from the hotel and back to hotel from Indomaret. so does the Front desk team, very friendly and talkative.

Colonial Town and Shopping Paradise

With a cooler climate than other cities on the Java Island, Bandung is located at an altitude of 768 metres, surrounded by tea plantations and the Parahyangan Mountains. This lush paradise was once a chic retreat for European colonialists and plantation owners, and still keeps some of its famous legacy.

During the 17th and 18th centuries, the Dutch East Indies Company (VOC) established several plantations and built a road linking to the capital, becoming the base for future expansions. At the beginning of the 20th century, chic restaurants, trendy boutiques, and luxurious Art Deco hotels helped Bandung to build the reputation of a ‘Paris of Java’.

Even though World War II stopped the Dutch attempt to move the colonial capital to Bandung, buildings like the magnificent ‘Gedung Sate’ remain witnesses of such enterprise. Other must-see landmarks are the ‘Gedung Merdeka’ and the Bandung Institut of Technology. Jalan Asia-Afrika street is still one of the main roads, and remains a popular area to find hotels in Bandung. The shopping areas are still a magnet for tourists, and many hotels, apartments and inns can be found here.

The WHOOSH Speed Train was awesome fast, comfortable and gave us peace of mind traveling to Bandung. Travel from Halim (Jakarta) to Padalarang (Bandung vicinity) takes about 30 minutes at speeds up to 350 km/h. We recommend engaging a driver through Kiki Travel they were efficient and offered affordable rates, making the journey smooth and hassle-free to explore outside Bandung such as Lembang about 1hour from Bandung. Hygiene at this places is a major concerned cause they have to at least install a fly trap at the cafe and restaurant. Stunning view and nice location but lots of flies.

Bandung is beautiful. Greenery everywhere. The food was good. People were friendly and helpful. The only thing is going to the recommended places like Kawah Putih (South of Bandung) or Orchid Cikole Forestry (North of Bandung) are quite far away which is fine but better to book a grab or taxi in advance if you want to go back to Bandung City since there is no grab or taxi around those areas. Or charter a car if you want to go to these places. It's a good thing our grab driver offered to take us back or else we may have some time to find a grab/taxi. Nevertheless, I enjoyed Bandung. It's beautiful!

The traffic was absolutely appalling.

The traffic was absolutely appalling. Admittedly we were there for the last weekend of the school holidays, + one extra. However, 2 hours to go 8.2 kilometres drove us nuts - and that was one of the better trips. Try 5 and a half hours to go 44 kilometres - and there was a LOT of time spent stationary. If you have a choice, don't come here - and definitely don't come during school holidays or on a weekend. We went to both Kawah Putih and Tangkuban Perahu (different days). They were worth seeing - but only if you can avoid Bandung traffic.

The breakfast was superb!! I really love the breakfast spread at this hotel. Taste was really good. They even have sandwich corner where you can order sandwich to your liking. But the next day they changed the sandwich corner to bread toast. I managed to get their specialty "Roti Bakar Bandung" which is very delicious. And for the kids corner, they even have yogurt ice cream with strawberry syrup topping, candies spread, and cotton candy!! They served cotton candy upon request. The kids really enjoy the breakfast here.

location is quite central, there is a big mall - bandung indah plaza just beside the hotel. There is also matahari and supermarket in the mall. staff were very friendly and approachable even the carpark attendant was very friendly and polite. Room was comfortable and clean, it was also quite big and sound proofing was good. Facilities were well maintained and clean.
