Loved our stay, both the Anda Amed and the little area around. Lovely large villa overlooking the pool and ocean, stunning gardens, comfy beds, huge lounging space on the balcony (great place to take meals), good kitchen facilities (was nice to have a morning of self catering as a change from the Bali brekkys, as lovely as they are), staff very attentive and kept our room super clean every day. The area around (actually Bununtan, which is east of Amed) is fantastic. Much more walkable than other parts of Bali we visited. We had a couple of great meals at the Anda itself (excellent smoothie bowl), but there are so many options nearby - Gusto next door is superb; Warang Sabar a few hundred metres away also delicious and amazing value. Then there's a mini mart and chemist super close making things very convenient. Lipah beach is a 10-15min walk, but for better snorkeling go to 'Wayan Snorkeling' which is 5 mins walk, access through Puri Wirata. Can snorkel there for great fish views, or take a boat trip to turtle point (we saw 5 turtles). Amed is a very relaxing, lovely place and Anda Amed is an excellent place to be!

This is such a beautiful hotel in the absolute middle of nowhere! You cannot have a better place to stay. Very close to Tirtaganga, Lahangan Sweet and Amed and super quiet. We did a hike from Tenganan to Tirtaganga (around 12 km) and the hotel booked us a great guide (Toto) and a super sweet and funny driver (Komang Abong) which I highly recommend. The staff of the hotel is amazing and helpful, you can also book a scooter directly from the hotel. The food there is great too, albeit a little more expensive than a local warung.

The accommodation in Lipah beach. Giant rooms. Family run resort, beautiful, nice and clean swimming pool. Breakfast was correct. Not directly on The beach but 2min away from it. Wonderful massage in devara spa, ang delicious local food in the next door warung 'me mang'.

This stay was unexpected as we only booked it to visit The Gate of Heaven. However, we were pleasantly surprised at the peaceful location and beautiful hotel. All the rooms had a beach view and was spacious for a luxurious stay. The price was great for what we got. Although the Ibus Hotel does not serve food (yet), the nearby Italian restaurant delivered to our room or wherever we were on the property. The staff arranged snorkeling and a trip to The Gate of Heaven for us at a really good price. Amed is definitely a hidden gem, with a lot less traffic and some great restaurants. Loved every second of our stay and will next time book for longer.

The apartments are brand new, very nicely furnished and also very well equipped. The aircon worked extremely well and everything was super clean. Also renting a scooter was no problem at all. We‘ve had a scoopy for a fair price. We‘ve met the owner of the apartment and he was very friendly and always willing to help us out with everything that we needed. What we really loved was the included breakfast at food and friends, a little local run place right next door :) I can definitely recommend staing at Jepun Hill Studios!

Beautiful new and clean place. Lovely and helpful staff. Snorkeling gear for rent, diving school. Small supermarket/ tourist shop across the street, where you can rent a scooter was well and walkable distance from the sea. Highly recommended. Oh and do go eat Chinese at their neighbours.....wow!

The property is located on a beach that has a small reef for snorkelling. We loved this. Other’s might want to be nearer to shops. The nearest ATM was a 35 min walk based in the nearest supermarket.
