If you are looking to visit waterfalls in the area this is your place! There’s nothing better than immersing yourself in the atmosphere of the mountains, a lush forest and the soothing sound of the water running down the river below. Pondok Rio is a real experience. You’ll feel like in a fairytale. Beautiful little wooden cottages, with a lot of attention to details. Surrounded by ponds with koi fishes and lotus flowers. A beautiful garden with tropical plans and flowers surrounds the property. Your own kitchen, if you wish, and a beautiful lounge area with internet, big tv screen and sound system. Tegu, the owner, is really kind and friendly, even though he doesn’t speak English. His friend came along to make sure we could communicate. They have breakfast included. Tegu’s friend will show up in the morning with a really tasty nasi goreng and bananas for a mid morning snack. We were set to go chase waterfalls! Thank you Tegu, we’ll be back!

Good price-quality accommodation, modest but warm. The host just opened his homestay, and we were warmly welcomed by his family with tea and a local snack. The accommodation is located near a small village, close to waterfalls, and the way there is a real treat driving through the rice fields of Lombok. Perfect location for a budget-friendly traveller who wants a local experience and escape the high-season crowds in Tetebatu.

My BEST place in Lombok!! I dont want to leave my litle House, i have everytime i can dream in a House in the midle of the rice field, sleep with nice of frog.....but the BEST IS to wake Up and see sunrise with Rinjani background.. MORE THAN I EXPECT. But the day continúe with the SUPER guide Egol, he Saw me all around, profesional taking care, he Saw me many waterfall, rice field, coffe plantations, local neightbourd, and dinner with delicius local spicy food. Really super recomed

We Stayed 2 nights at The Alam Tetebatu Bungalow and Restaurant, as the first guests. The whole experience was great. Very clean, tidy property, comfortable bed, modern bathroom , attention to every detail. Great view from room, actually from bed, right in the middle of nature, amazing food, for a very good price. Breakfast included with great view from the terrace. It truly felt like a homestay as we could spend time talking, cooking with the lovely owners: Arif and Fuji. They helped in every way to make our stay the best. We even had a guided walk around the ricefields and waterfall, saw black monkeys in their natural habitat. Would 100% recommend it.

This was probably one of my favorite places to stay in Indonesia. The little hut is perfectly located in nature with views of the forest and ricefield. The bungalows is equipped with everything you need and very comfortable. The terrace was probably my favorite spot to have breakfast and read at night. It was SPECIAL place!

The accommodation is new, equipped with air conditioning, an infinity pool, and stunning views of the rice fields and Mount Rinjani. The staff are wonderful. Yogui gave us excellent advice on all the activities available in the area. We took a tour of the waterfalls, rice fields, and Black Monkey Forest with a fantastic guide who is his friend, Antonie. Yogui also recommended and accompanied us during the coconut oil processing activity. His english is excellent, which we really appreciated. We only stayed one night as the place was fully booked, but without a doubt, we would have loved to stay longer! Thank you for everything! Our stay in Tetebatu was truly incredible!

Dewi Rinjani Homestay was a wonderful place to stay! The accommodation is located in the middle of the nature and offers a beautiful view. The family who runs the homestay is incredibly kind and helpful, making us feel very welcome. The food was delicious and freshly prepared. We also joined a great guided tour through the rice fields and to some stunning waterfalls. A real highlight of our trip. We absolutely recommend everyone to stay there, we had an amazing time! Great value for money to base yourself in the Tete Batu area, very close to waterfalls, rice fields and hiking. Batu, the owner, can give you lot of advice and organise tours with you to discover Tete Batu area. There is also a good restaurant for dinner and breakfast within 5 minutes walking distance. Recommended!
