This apartment was absolutly amazing! So clean and well equipted. In reallity everything looks even better then on pictures. We stay there just for a one night on a long way home, but we would gladly spend there more time.

A beautiful place in a stunning setting with breathtaking surroundings. The spa and wellness area is very impressive, and I would especially highlight the massage — the relaxation massage was truly rejuvenating. The food, including breakfast and dinner, was flawless, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The area offers many hiking opportunities, and you can walk along the lakeshore or even run. It's a perfect place for those looking for rest, relaxation, and a bit of peace and quiet.

We love everything about this property. We have stayed here before and will do again. Breakfast is excellent and plentiful. The restaurant for other meals is very nice with a view of Lake Hámori. There is plenty of sitting out garden area for a quiet pre dinner drink. The rooms (and we’ve experienced two now) are spotless and very comfortable. We live in Australian but visit Hungary every year and usually have a little side trip. Lillafüred is our halfway stop if it’s convenient and we usually stay at least a couple of days. There is lots to do; beautiful walks and interesting villages to visit and there’s the not to be missed Lillafüred Forest Railway through the Bükk Forest.

Hotel Szeleta is situated in Miskolc-Alsóhámor, only one kilometre from Lillafüred in the Bükk Mountains National Park, and offers a sauna, a salt cave, outdoor pool and Wi-fi free of charge.

I knew that I wanted to visit Lillafured but, beyond that, I didn't know much. Hotel Szeleta turned out to be an excellent find. For me, the Palota Lillafured was completely out of my budget-range... but Hotel Szeleta was not :) . Hotel Szeleta and Lillafured are easily reached from Miskolc... I took the tramway from the train station all of the way to the end, and then transferred to Bus 5 or Bus 15, both of which head up to Lillafured. Hotel Szeleta is in a pretty town in the valley called Also-Hamor, so downstream from Lillafured. I think it was about 1- 1.5 km to walk to Lillafured by way of Felso-Hamor, another pretty town with the stream running through it. I was able to have a reasonable lunch at the restaurant in Palota and could walk their beautiful grounds... so it all worked out. In Also Hamor, there appeared to be some restaurants geared toward tourists... but as it was off-season they were not open yet.
