Hotel Gottwald was such a nice surprise. We booked it for a one-night stopover on our family roadtrip. This hotel exceeded our expectations with their level of service and amenities. We loved the pool and wellness center and even booked a last-minute massage on-site. The meals were great on a lovely outdoor terrace. Very charming.

The location is very central and very close to the lake area where you can find the most of the attractions. It has access to the highway and to different type of stores in case you missed to bring something with you. The location has its style and inside there is a courtyard with access to SPA but also to the garden. A place where you can eat something but also sit for a nice drink. I founded nothing to bother me or inappropriate during staying with my family. Great breakfast where you can find all types of food adapted for every taste and or diet.

Nice, quiet place. The room was clean and cosy, staff helpful and friendly. The bed and couch were comfortable. The mini kitchen has all the appliances you need for a few days stay. The flat is very well situated, there are more restaurants and sights nearby. Good value for money.

We highly recommend this accommodation. The apartments were clean, beautifully furnished, air conditioning available. Possibility to park in the outdoor parking lot or in the garage, where you can also use the car charging. The parking lot is fenced in the yard and under cameras. There are grocery stores and restaurants nearby. The apartment building has a smaller number of apartments, which guarantees greater privacy. My sme si pobyt naozaj užili. The staff is nice and helpful, quick communication via email or phone.

The city is quite tranquil and beautiful. Both the Eszterházy manor and the castle were great to visit, plus there are two scenic lakes with park areas to stroll through, Platán Bistro was a great lunch experience, with awesome food and desserts to die for. Go with the Salted Caramel and Apricot Tart, you'll not regret it.

Tata is a beautiful town with lots to see and do.

Tata is a beautiful town with lots to see and do. The Old Lake is beautiful with a walking trail that goes around it. The boardwalk around the lake has restaurants, pubs and ice cream shops. It has a very relaxed feel about it and is the kind of place that makes you just want to relax and take in all of the beauty around you. The nearby English Garden is also well worth the walk from the Tata castle area. It too has a large lake with many walking trails around it.

Many castle-like buildings.

Many castle-like buildings. A nice tourist train with commentary, but only in Hungarian. A wide selection of restaurants. A growing Baptist community. The dam is always beautiful from many angles. The weather is also nice, often sunny. The forint is currently strong. Combined with the high VAT, it's not so cheap anymore. There are also supermarkets like Lidl.

It’s newly refurbished and very stylish. Very welcoming owners and easy modern access with cards for both entry and parking. Great automatic window shades for rest and modern equipment in the kitchen. Close to all amenities and the lake.

Location is great, We had to attend an event to the Gottwald Hotel and the hotel is really close to the apartment. Hosts are great and really helpful. Works perfectly for a trip and they have Wi fi in case you need it.
