The countryside around Taral was beautiful with rolling Hills and vineyards. If someone would want to tour a lot of vineyards it's a nice place to do it from. Town of doesn't have much going on but did have a lovely local restaurant with great food

You can buy great wine at Tarcal.

You can buy great wine at Tarcal. Plenty of wine cellars can be found here or in the surroundings of Tarcal. For a walk, you may visit the statue of Christ located on a hill above the city. It can be nicely accessed with a baby stroller as well

Very pleasant walk (15min) to the statue of Jesus (Aldo Jesus) Beautiful view from above, lots of vineyards. Many places with wine tasting. Very varied and good breakfast. On the minuses, there should be more variety on the dinner menu!

The vineyard town is nothing special, it's just a shame the owner didn't describe his property very accurately, unless you enjoy relaxing near a cemetery and unsecured grounds. This visit will long remain in my memory as a nightmare.

Tarcal is a pleasant place with delicious wines! It is a village with nice, quiet streets, where a simple walk can easily turn into a visit to a cellar or a wine tasting. We loved being there and we will definitely be back!

A luxury hotel with a spa where hand-made pralines await you upon entering the room. It's a waste of time to describe how fantastic this place is because you can see it on the website. I liked the service the most. The concierge organized a tasting of local wines in a nearby vineyard in 3 minutes. The tasting was conducted by the owner of the vineyard. I recommend Hungarian wines. Waiter service at the highest world level. Talking about the wines with the waiter was a real pleasure.

Well, it is a spa hotel in wine country so what is not to like? Tarcal is one stop up the line from Tokay and is a bit of a one-horse town. The hotel has a nice pool and some water features, plus a sun trap terrace that was quite hot in May so I imagine might become a tandoori oven in high summer. The wine list is an homage to the local furmint grape variety but struck me as expensive. Unexpectedly there were several very good beers from a craft brewery in Tokay called Baz Beer.

It was a magical stay at this quiet hotel castle. We really enjoyed the pool and the scenery around it. Also a place great if you want to have a tasting session from the local sweet and dry white wines. You can serve quite a delicious dinner, probably the best dinner around Tokaj. Really like that you can serve breakfast outside on the terrace in the morning and enjoy a bottle of wine in the evening. Do come prepared with mosquito repellent though :)

I like everything about this hotel. comfortable rooms, comfortable mattresses and pillows. very good restaurant, attentive professional restaurant staff, remembering little details and our preferences. professional hotel reception , thank you very much for your willingness to help the client.
