Nice and serene place by the lake.

Nice and serene place by the lake. A couple of restaurants by the lake, which was nice. People there don't speak english, but most know german. Traffic by the main road was pretty high, which made crossing quite a challange. Most of the shore is taken by private properties.

It's a very comfortable place for families with children, and since everything is in the immediate vicinity, from the circus to rides and so on, however, from August 30th onwards, with the market closing, it resembles a ghost town.

A clean beach, a warm lake, delicious food—what more could you want? The city offers many attractions, such as a cable car ride up a wine-growing hill or a boat cruise. Pedal boats are available for rent on the water. There are plenty of trash cans throughout the city, and they're emptied daily, a big plus for the city's cleanliness.

The free beach next to Penny is fabulous.

The free beach next to Penny is fabulous. The goulash soup is fantastic at the Sörcsill Büfe. There are great programs for young and old (Circus, amusement park, scooter, SUP rental, etc.) And by the way, the Bikini concert was excellent. The Oliver Inn camping is in a very good location, close to everything good, I think with a little wrinkle sewing it could be an excellent camping in the future, because the basic features are good.

Nice place with a nice public beach, although paid, there was a nice private beach near our accommodation. The water was shallow for a long time, you couldn't swim, but the kids had a great time. Lots of stalls, restaurants and entertainment including a Ferris wheel. The kids especially enjoyed it.

This is a great destination, ideal for families with small children, there are countless playgrounds on the beaches, which, combined with a large lake that looks like the sea, is a paradise on earth for young visitors. :-)

The hotel preserved the design of the 1990s, so it is a very interesting place both for Westerners and also for those, who have not lived through that era. Really, it's a proper time capsule - yet a very friendly place indeed. The owner is a nice, helpful, easy-going chap, who has a similarly friendly, small dog. Breakfast was delicious and freshly made. There is even a pizzeria in the hotel, so you can have your dinner on site. The price is very cheap even by Hungarian standards.

First stay for my family at Lake Balaton. We had a great stay of nearly two weeks. Melis has an excellent location right by the beach and just a little stroll away from railway station + shops and other things in Balatonlelle, yet quiet and undisturbed area. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean apartments. Half board was a great option. Also great with a little kitchenette including a small fridge + microwave oven.

Nice place to have a relaxed few days. Fresh air and the lake near by, 3 minutes by foot. Romantic view to the right part of the Balaton Lake. Great breakfast! Comfy bed. Balatonlelle is a good place to bring your bike to, it’s very flat. Pet friendly! Great value for the money.
